History of Caffe Izzo
Caffè Izzo was founded by Vincenzo Izzo near Naples in 1979 as an artisan roastery rooted in the city’s intense, traditional espresso culture. The company built its identity around blends and roast profiles intended to deliver the dense body and persistent character associated with Neapolitan coffee.
As the brand grew, it expanded beyond roasted coffee into espresso equipment, connecting the product in the cup with the machines used to prepare it.
Get to know Caffe Izzo
Izzo espresso machines reflect a classic Italian approach: substantial metal construction, hands-on operation, and platforms designed for rich, full-bodied extraction. Models such as the Vivi and Alex Duetto bring that identity into prosumer formats with modern temperature control.
The result is equipment that feels traditional in use and appearance while offering the stability expected from a contemporary home espresso setup.
Caffè Izzo is most compelling for customers who already know the style of espresso they want. The brand’s story begins with roasting, so the equipment naturally supports a darker, syrupy, milk-drink-friendly tradition.
It offers a coherent route from Neapolitan coffee culture to a capable home bar rather than treating the machine as an isolated appliance.
