The E65T Grind by Sync is a 'Grind-by-Time' machine. It uses precision timed dosing, with the Sync feature automatically fine-tuning the dose timing based on real-time shot data from a compatible espresso machine, for consistent dosing shot after shot.

How does the 'Grind by Sync' feature work with my espresso machine?

Grind by Sync technology allows the grinder to communicate wirelessly with a compatible espresso machine (such as the La Marzocco Linea PB ABR). The machine tracks shot times and tells the grinder to automatically adjust the burr distance if the extraction falls outside of the desired profile.

What is Disc Distance Detection (DDD) and why is it important?

Disc Distance Detection (DDD) is a patented technology that measures the actual physical gap between the burrs in microns. This allows for extreme precision when setting your grind size and makes it possible for the 'Sync' feature to make accurate, automated adjustments.

Does the grinder automatically recognize different portafilters?

Yes, it features Portafilter Detection technology. The grinder automatically senses which portafilter is being used (e.g., single vs. double) and switches to the corresponding pre-set dose profile without the barista needing to push any buttons.

How Much Is Shipping? General shipping starts at $15.99. You can qualify for free shipping with any total order value over $249 and shipping to the contiguous USA. Taxes and discounts will be calculated at checkout.

Free Shipping Terms: Typical delivery within 3-6 Business days depending on size of order. Free shipping is available on orders of $249 or more to any address in the contiguous United States.

Free shipping does not apply to orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/military addresses or on any international orders. We will use the lowest cost means for free shipping. Free shipping delivery dates are best estimates provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed. How does free installation work?

We want to make your purchase as smooth as possible and will pay the installation via rebate on commercial espresso machines. This includes commercial machines with more than 1 group head and 220V.

If the certified installer needed is over 1.5 hours away then we will pay for the installation call (and install up to the value suggested on page minus call fee). Travel will be paid by customer. Inquire if you have any questions about your location.

Can I pick up the machine at your store?

We do not have a showroom or storefront for customer pickups, so orders cannot be picked up directly from us. That said, there is an exception for La Spaziale and La Pavoni products, you can contact us to arrange.
