Fiorenzato PRO is built around a practical idea: a coffee grinder should be easy to clean without undoing the work of dialing it in. That matters more during a long café shift than another touchscreen feature nobody uses. The PRO family combines professional espresso grinding with a quick-release grinding chamber that lets staff access the burrs without removing the main adjustment ring. We like it for operators who treat grinder maintenance as a routine, not a repair.

F64 EVO PRO versus F83 E PRO

The F64 EVO PRO is an excellent starting point for a full-service espresso station that wants a 64 mm flat-burr system and cooling designed for commercial use. The F83 E PRO moves to an 83 mm burr platform, particularly compelling when a café needs more output headroom through an extended peak. We would not push a smaller café into the F83 solely to boast about burr size; the F64 may be the better fit for its workflow, space and budget.

Should you pay for Sense grind-by-weight?

The F64 EVO PRO Sense GbW and F83 E PRO Sense GbW introduce integrated dose weighing. Instead of running purely for a programmed duration, the grinder works toward a target output weight. We favor Sense for shops where that removes repeated scale movements and reduces dose variation among shifts. Timed dosing is still an excellent option when the team has an efficient, repeatable process and does not need additional automation.

The removable grinding chamber is the real PRO upgrade

Traditional grinder cleaning may require removing the adjustment collar, which can disrupt the grind setting. Fiorenzato's PRO chamber releases using two side levers so the operator can inspect and clean the burr area more easily. Good maintenance will still require care and the manufacturer's safe cleaning procedure, but the quicker access makes it more realistic for staff to keep the equipment clean.

Keep the collection current and focused

This page concentrates on today's F64 and F83 PRO espresso platforms. Earlier XGi grinders and unrelated products containing the word “Pro” are not the intended buying choices here. For a closer comparison between the two 83 mm configurations, use the F83 E PRO family page. For other espresso and filter applications, browse the complete Fiorenzato collection.

Choose for a real café shift

Think about the busiest hour, how many coffee recipes are in rotation, grinding speed, operating noise, maintenance and how many people will share the station. Choose the grinding platform and dosing method that make espresso preparation simpler, then pair it with the right tamper, scales where appropriate and an espresso machine that can keep pace.

Fiorenzato PRO FAQs

Does a PRO grinder need to be recalibrated after every cleaning?

The quick-release chamber allows access without removing the adjustment ring, reducing the need to disturb the dial-in. Follow the manufacturer's procedure and check the first dose after service.

Is 83 mm better than 64 mm?

It can provide more commercial output capacity, but whether that matters depends on workload, coffee and available space.

Does Sense eliminate the need for separate scales?

It can remove some routine external dose weighing. Periodic recipe checks and equipment calibration remain important.
