Shipping Policy
Coffeeionado ships to all 50 United States. We are unable to ship to APO, PO Box, or military addresses. Free and paid shipping coverage applies to the 48 contiguous United States only — Alaska, Hawaii, and international destinations are subject to additional charges.
All orders over $249 within the 48 contiguous United States qualify for free shipping. Orders are generally processed within 24 hours of placement.
Expedited shipping is available but must be arranged through our customer service team prior to order placement. Additional charges apply.
Some espresso machines and grinders are bench tested before shipping to verify proper function following transit from the factory. This may add minor processing time but ensures your equipment arrives ready to use.
We ship using our preferred carriers and are unable to accommodate shipping on a customer's personal carrier account.
Paid Shipping
Coffeeionado-paid shipping applies to standard ground shipments within the 48 contiguous United States only. Orders qualifying for free shipping will be shipped via our preferred method at our discretion. If you require expedited shipping or are located outside the coverage area, please contact us — a surcharge will apply.
Commercial Shipments — Freight Delivery
Commercial espresso machines and large equipment ship via freight carrier on a pallet. Please be aware of the following before placing your order:
Commercial address required. Commercial freight shipments must be delivered to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift access. Residential delivery of freight is significantly more difficult due to truck size and access constraints, and will incur additional residential delivery surcharges. If you are operating from a non-traditional commercial space or home-based location, contact us before ordering to discuss delivery options.
Liftgate delivery included. All qualifying commercial orders include free liftgate delivery, which lowers the pallet from the truck to curbside. This is curbside delivery only and does not include inside delivery or placement on your property.
Delivery appointments. If your location has specific receiving hours or is unstaffed at certain times, you can arrange a delivery appointment directly with the freight carrier after shipment. We recommend doing this for all commercial deliveries to avoid missed delivery attempts and redelivery fees.
Inspection before signing. You must inspect your shipment before signing the delivery receipt. Once signed, the delivery is considered accepted in good condition and damage claims cannot be filed. See our Terms of Sale for full damage reporting requirements.
Free and Bonus Items
Free or bonus items included with a purchase may be substituted with items of similar value where necessary and will be shipped via the lowest cost method available. Discounts or coupons applied at checkout will nullify any free or included bonus items.
Tracking
Tracking numbers will be posted to your order at the time of shipment or as soon as they become available from the carrier.
Address Changes
If your order is already processing and you need to change the delivery address, a reroute fee of $50.00 may apply. Contact our customer service team as soon as possible — once a shipment has left our facility, address changes are subject to carrier availability and fees.
Refused Delivery
Refusing delivery of an order or returning items without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will result in the following deductions from your return credit:
- Standard items: 20% restocking fee plus original shipping charges both ways
- Commercial items: Restocking fees of 20%–50% plus all shipping and handling charges, per our Terms of Sale
Redelivery attempts and storage fees charged by the carrier as a result of a refused delivery are the customer's responsibility.
Alaska, Hawaii, and International Orders
Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are available but do not qualify for free shipping — contact us for a shipping quote. For international orders, please visit our International Shipping page.
Governing Terms
This Shipping Policy forms part of your agreement with Coffeeionado and is subject to our Terms of Sale and Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service governs.
