The machines we carry are predominantly handcrafted in Europe by manufacturers who've been building espresso equipment for decades. That level of craftsmanship means issues are rare — but when they do arise, we're in your corner.

The details below explain how warranty coverage works. If you ever have a question or a problem, reach out to us first — we'll guide you through it.
What voids your warranty
Your warranty may be voided if any of the following apply:
- Using a home-use product in a commercial environment
- Water damage, poor water quality, or limescale buildup from not descaling regularly
- Failing to follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule and procedures
- Modifying the product in any way not approved by the manufacturer
- Using the product for purposes other than those the manufacturer intends
- Relocating the product outside of the United States (products are not intended for export or international travel)
- Mishandling, user error, or negligence — including improper installation, reassembly, or storage
- Repairs or service performed by a non-authorized technician
- Use of non-original or non-manufacturer-approved parts
- Preventable clogs in grinders or dosers
What's not covered
The following are excluded from warranty coverage entirely:
- Normal wear and tear items — such as group gaskets, wear seals, and shower screens. These are consumable parts expected to be replaced over time.
- Damage that occurs during transit or handling after delivery
- Damage caused by external events (accidents, drops, electrical surges, etc.)
- Cosmetic defects that do not affect the product's function
- Acts of God — including fire, flood, lightning, and other natural events
Parts & Labor Warranty
All machines sold by Coffeeionado are covered by the manufacturer's parts warranty for the duration of the warranty period. This covers the cost of the replacement part only — labor is not included unless explicitly stated in your manufacturer's warranty.
If a covered part is found to be defective, it will be replaced at no charge. If no covered fault is found, the cost of the technician visit is the customer's responsibility. This applies regardless of whether labor coverage is included — warranty coverage is only triggered when a covered fault is confirmed.
Where labor is not covered, you are responsible for arranging and paying the technician directly. Coffeeionado can help you locate an authorized technician if needed.
Where labor is covered by the manufacturer and you are within their service area, the manufacturer will arrange and cover the repair directly, including associated fees.
Where labor is covered but you are outside the manufacturer's service area, Coffeeionado will honor that coverage in their place — arranging a local authorized technician and covering the labor cost. However, any travel or callout fees itemized separately by the technician remain your responsibility.
In any situation where costs are split between covered and non-covered items — whether that involves parts, labor, or both — Coffeeionado will work with you to ensure covered costs are either billed directly or reimbursed to your original payment method.
Commercial machines — extended parts warranty
Commercial machines purchased through Coffeeionado receive a 2-year parts warranty. The manufacturer covers year one. Coffeeionado covers the second year as an added benefit to you.
The same warranty exclusions apply throughout both years — the extended coverage does not apply to items already excluded from the standard warranty. All callout fees, travel charges, and diagnostic costs remain the customer's responsibility during the extended year as well.
Effect of a voided manufacturer's warranty
Coffeeionado's second-year parts coverage is an extension of the manufacturer's warranty — not a separate or independent policy. If the manufacturer's warranty is voided for any reason (see exclusions above), the Coffeeionado extended year is voided alongside it.
This applies regardless of when the voiding event occurs. If a machine is misused, modified, or otherwise disqualifies itself from manufacturer coverage during year one, Coffeeionado's coverage does not activate for year two.
If you have purchased a separate extended warranty through CPS, that product operates under its own terms and conditions and is not affected by this policy. Contact CPS directly for coverage questions related to your plan.
Limitation of liability
Coffeeionado's warranty obligations are limited to the repair or replacement of confirmed defective parts as described above. We are not responsible for any losses, costs, or damages arising from equipment downtime, business interruption, lost revenue, or any other consequential or indirect loss — regardless of the cause or whether we were advised of the possibility of such loss.

Governing Terms. This Warranty Policy forms part of the agreement between you and Coffeeionado and is subject to the Terms of Service available at coffeeionado.com/pages/terms-of-service, which governs in the event of any conflict. All disputes arising from warranty coverage are subject to the dispute resolution process set out in the Terms of Service.
In summary
Covered: Parts confirmed as defective under the manufacturer's warranty — replaced at no charge. Labor, if included in your manufacturer's warranty and you're within their service area — the manufacturer arranges and covers it. Labor, if you're outside that service area — Coffeeionado covers the labor cost in their place. A second year of parts coverage on commercial machines, provided the manufacturer's warranty has not been voided.
Not covered: Travel, mileage, callout, and diagnostic fees — always the customer's responsibility. Any technician visit where no covered fault is found — the full cost of that visit falls to the customer. Labor where it is not included in your manufacturer's warranty — you arrange and pay the technician directly, though we can help you find one.
Billing: Where a repair involves a mix of covered and non-covered costs, Coffeeionado will coordinate so that covered items are either billed directly or reimbursed to your original payment method.
