The company was founded by Ilan Maimon, a figure well-versed in the world of coffee grinding equipment. Maimon’s earlier venture, Elan (Shanghai) Industries and Trading Ltd, parent to the HeyCafé brand, saw him collaborating with the Hemro Group on grinders for esteemed brands such as Mahlkönig and Ditting.
