and hundreds of cafés, restaurants and offices.

The ACS Falcon-I pairs a thermoregulated 58 mm E61 group with a 0.8 L brew boiler, a dedicated 2.3 L steam boiler, intelligent PID temperature controls and a quiet rotary pump. For an experienced home barista, it brings the control to explore new coffees and the steam power to make back-to-back milk drinks comfortably.

Product Features

Thermoregulated E61 Group

A thermoregulated 58 mm E61-style group and directly mounted brew-pressure gauge make extraction temperature and pressure easier to monitor.

Independent Stainless Dual Boilers

Separate insulated 0.8 L coffee and 2.3 L steam/hot-water boilers in AISI 316L stainless steel let you brew and texture milk simultaneously.

Intelligent PID 2.0 Controls

Second-generation PID management adjusts brew and steam temperatures, schedules heating and allows ECO modes and configurable bloom behavior.

Silent Rotary Pump

Quiet rotary pump works with the removable 2 L water tank or a properly installed direct water line, supporting flexible kitchen setups without the noise typical of vibratory pumps.

Customizable Premium Design

An illuminated work area, touchscreen interface, and optional wood side panels and body finishes let you build a home espresso station that looks as considered as it performs.

Ready for Home Entertaining

The dedicated 2.3 L steam boiler keeps milk preparation moving when friends and family want consecutive cappuccinos or lattes, while the independent brew boiler stays ready for espresso.

The Coffeeionado Take

Straight answers, before you buy.

Who's It For

  • Espresso enthusiasts: Home baristas who enjoy dialing in different roasts and want precise temperature and bloom-phase adjustments.
  • Milk-drink households: People making several lattes or cappuccinos who want dedicated steam power alongside their brew boiler.
  • Home-bar builders: Owners who appreciate a quiet rotary pump, a premium finish and the flexibility to start with a reservoir or switch to direct plumbing.

It's Right For You If

  • You enjoy refining espresso recipes and want to adjust brew temperatures, pre-infusion behavior and daily heating schedules.
  • You regularly make espresso and milk drinks back-to-back and want to brew and steam without switching modes.
  • You want a 120V Italian-built machine with a removable reservoir today and the option to connect a water line later.

Things to Consider

  • A machine for hands-on espresso: The touchscreen, PID settings and adjustable bloom phase reward experimentation. If you prefer a simple push-button routine, you may not use everything it offers.
  • Plan your counter space: The Falcon-I measures 14.8″ W × 18.5″ D × 15.0″ H and weighs approximately 55 lb. Leave additional room to use the steam wand, remove the portafilter and access the water tank.
  • Two water-supply options: Use the removable 2 L reservoir for countertop flexibility or connect the machine directly to a water line with appropriate filtration and pressure management.
  • North American electrical setup: The 120 V / 60 Hz model is rated at 1,300 W. Allow the boilers and E61 group to warm fully before dialing in your first shot.

Our Take

The Falcon-I is the ACS we'd put on a serious home coffee bar when the owner wants more control without losing the familiar experience of an E61-style group. Its thermoregulated group, separate boilers and intelligent PID system make small recipe adjustments worthwhile, while the rotary pump and substantial steam capacity make everyday operation feel calmer. Pair it with a precise grinder and this is a machine you can keep exploring as your taste in coffee develops.

Full Product Description

Some espresso machines ask you to choose between the traditional feel of an E61 group and the precision of modern temperature and brewing controls. The ACS Falcon-I brings those ideas together: two insulated stainless-steel boilers, a thermoregulated E61-style group, a responsive touchscreen, and a quiet rotary pump in a distinctive Italian-built design. If you make espresso seriously, regularly texture milk, and want a machine you can fine-tune without giving up the tactile pleasure of coffee preparation, the Falcon-I deserves a closer look.

One-Year Warranty

Purchase the ACS Falcon-I with confidence: Coffeeionado provides a 1-year parts warranty covering eligible manufacturer defects from the date of purchase. Labor and repair costs are not included. For full coverage details, see our warranty policy.

Free Shipping

Your Falcon-I qualifies for free standard shipping within the contiguous United States from Coffeeionado. Alaska, Hawaii, international destinations, and exceptional delivery requirements may involve additional charges. Review our shipping policy for details.

Two Insulated Boilers. One Consistent Espresso Routine.

The Falcon-I separates brewing and milk steaming into dedicated AISI 316L stainless-steel boilers: a 0.8-liter coffee boiler and a generous 2.3-liter steam and hot-water boiler. You can pull a shot while preparing milk instead of waiting for a single boiler to change temperature. That makes back-to-back cappuccinos and flat whites far more comfortable than they are on a compact single-boiler machine.

Temperature Control That Goes Beyond a Basic PID

ACS's second-generation PID system manages energy intelligently, with adjustable temperatures, programmable heating priorities, daily scheduling, and an optional steam-boiler shutoff when you only want espresso. The touchscreen also controls the illuminated work area, while the group-mounted pressure gauge lets you follow extraction pressure as the shot develops. Configurable bloom-phase behavior and software-update capability add flexibility for experienced home baristas.

Choose Your Water Connection

A quiet rotary pump supports both the removable 2-liter reservoir and a direct water-line connection, depending on your installation. The water supply can be arranged around your kitchen rather than requiring a permanent plumbing connection from day one. A permanent water-line setup calls for proper filtration and pressure management, while the reservoir lets you enjoy the same brewing system without a fixed installation.

Made for Your Home Espresso Routine

Whether you are pulling a few shots before work or making a round of cappuccinos for friends, the Falcon-I is built to keep your routine moving. Separate brew and steam boilers let you extract espresso and texture milk without switching operating modes, while the thermoregulated group gives you a consistent starting point for dialing in different coffees.

For planning purposes, Coffeeionado estimates up to 40 espresso-based drinks per day when drinks are prepared across the day. That's our home-use planning estimate. The real advantage for most owners is how comfortably the Falcon-I handles consecutive espresso and milk drinks.

The Brand: ACS (Advanced Coffee Solutions)

ACS is an Italian espresso-machine manufacturer that pairs classic machine architecture with electronic brewing controls and distinctive industrial design. The Falcon-I shows that philosophy at work: insulated boilers, a carefully managed brewing group, and user-adjustable finishes that make the machine feel personal. See our ACS espresso machines to compare the Falcon-I with the compact Minima and the pressure-profiling Vesuvius models.

Who It's For

We would choose the Falcon-I for a home barista who already enjoys dialing in espresso and wants finer control over temperature, pre-infusion, and the timing of the morning routine. The separate steam boiler makes it equally compelling for cappuccino and latte drinkers, while the quiet rotary pump and choice of reservoir or direct plumbing make a dedicated home coffee bar easier to live with.

Falcon-I FAQs

What makes the Falcon-I different from a basic dual-boiler espresso machine?

Along with separate stainless-steel boilers for brewing and steaming, the Falcon-I adds a thermoregulated E61 group, second-generation PID temperature management, an adjustable bloom phase, daily heating schedules, and a quiet rotary pump. Those details give an experienced home barista more control over the recipe and a more comfortable daily workflow.

Is the Falcon-I suitable for making multiple milk drinks at home?

Coffeeionado uses up to 40 espresso-based drinks per day as a home-use planning estimate; your pace will depend on the drink mix and how you prepare each cup.

Can I brew and steam milk at the same time?

Yes. Its independent 0.8 L brewing and 2.3 L steaming boilers allow simultaneous operation.

Can the Falcon-I be plumbed directly?

Yes. It supports a removable internal reservoir as well as direct connection to a water line with appropriate filtration and installation.

Water Quality & Machine Protection

Proper water quality is essential for optimal espresso extraction and long-term machine health. Use the guidelines below to ensure your machine performs at its best.

Parameter Ideal Range Why It Matters
Total Hardness 50-170 ppm Prevents scale buildup while maintaining flavor
pH Level 6.5-7.5 Ensures balanced extraction and protects internal components
Chlorine 0 ppm Eliminates off-flavors and prevents corrosion
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) 70-150 ppm Optimal mineral content for extraction and taste
Total Alkalinity ~7.0 Stabilizes acidity and extraction
Chloride 0-28 ppm Prevents corrosion (especially in steel boilers)

Important Note

Always refer to your machine's manual for specific water quality recommendations and maintenance schedules.

Advisory

Install a water filtration system to maintain consistent water quality and extend the life of your espresso machine.

What This Means

  • Water that’s too hard → scale buildup, reduced performance
  • Water that’s too soft → flat, dull espresso
  • Improper water can damage internal components over time

Machine-Specific Considerations

  • These guidelines are safe for most home espresso machines
  • Some machines (especially with stainless steel boilers) require stricter limits on chlorides

Please note, any discounts subject to void the paid installation offer.

At Coffeeionado, professional installation is included with qualifying espresso machine purchases. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible — from coordinating the technician to getting your machine up and running on day one.

Which Machines Qualify

Free professional installation is included with all espresso machines of 2 groups or more where indicated on the product listing. This policy applies to espresso machines only and does not cover other coffee equipment such as grinders, brewers, or accessories.

If you are unsure whether your machine qualifies, contact us before purchasing and we'll confirm.

What's Included

  • Travel and labor costs for installation within the technician's service area (up to 2 hours of travel)
  • Setup, basic programming, and commissioning of the equipment
  • Scheduling during regular business hours, Monday through Friday
  • Associated taxes and fees related to the installation itself

Installation must be completed within 90 days of delivery of the equipment. The installation benefit lapses after this window and cannot be reinstated.

How Installation Is Arranged

Depending on your purchase, installation is handled one of two ways:

Arranged directly — In many cases, Coffeeionado or the manufacturer will coordinate and pay the technician on your behalf. We will contact you after your order is processed to schedule the visit.

Reimbursement — In some cases, you may be asked to arrange the installation locally using an authorized technician and submit a rebate form for reimbursement. Once approved, the covered amount will be refunded to the original payment method used for your order.

We will confirm which arrangement applies to your purchase at the time of order confirmation. If you have questions before purchasing, contact us and we'll walk you through it.

What's Not Included

The following are outside the scope of the installation policy and remain the customer's responsibility:

  • Travel or callout costs beyond the first 2 hours of the technician's travel time — if your location falls outside the local service area, the overage is the customer's responsibility
  • Water filtration systems and installation materials — including plumbing fittings, tubing, plugs, outlets, and any other ancillary components required to prepare the site
  • Electrical or plumbing work — site preparation must be completed before the technician arrives
  • Training on equipment operation — installation covers commissioning only, not barista or operational training
  • False start or callout fees if the technician arrives and the site is not ready for installation

Important: If a technician arrives and cannot complete the installation because the site is unprepared, you will be responsible for any callout or false start fee charged by the technician. However, your installation benefit remains intact — the visit will be rescheduled at no additional cost to your policy.

Water Filtration Requirement

Water filtration must be installed and operational before or at the time of installation. This is not optional — operating a commercial espresso machine without proper filtration will void the manufacturer's warranty. If filtration is not in place at the time of the technician's visit, installation may need to be rescheduled and the callout fee will be the customer's responsibility.

If you need guidance on water filtration requirements for your machine, contact us before scheduling your installation.

Service Area

Installation coverage is tied to the manufacturer's authorized technician service area, generally within a 1.5-hour radius of the nearest certified technician. If the customer's location falls outside this area, Coffeeionado will make reasonable efforts to arrange a local authorized technician, but travel costs beyond the 2-hour coverage limit remain the customer's responsibility.

Not sure if you're in a service area? Contact us before purchasing and we'll check your location.

What to Expect on Install Day

Getting a commercial espresso machine delivered is one thing. Getting it actually running — plumbed, programmed, and pulling properly — is another. Here's what happens when the technician comes out.

Before the appointment: Site preparation will be confirmed before technicians make it out. Once your machine ships, we'll coordinate scheduling with you and assign a local certified technician. Before they arrive, make sure your space is ready: the machine's permanent location should be determined, your water line and drain access should be in place, and your electrical supply should match the machine's requirements.

On the day The technician will handle the physical installation of the machine — positioning, water line connection, and drain setup. Once it's plumbed and powered, they'll run through the setup and basic programming: boiler pressure, shot parameters, and confirming that water flows correctly through the group heads and steam wands. Some basic training will be provided, they'll pull test shots to verify the machine is operating within spec.

After Installation

Once your machine is installed, we'll provide referrals for authorized service technicians in your area for ongoing maintenance and repairs. Coffeeionado offers lifetime support on all equipment we sell — we're here long after the install is done.

Governing Terms

This installation policy forms part of your agreement with Coffeeionado and is subject to our Terms of Sale and Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service governs.

Can I pick up the machine at your store?

We do not have a showroom or storefront for customer pickups, so orders cannot be picked up directly from us. That said, there is an exception for La Spaziale and La Pavoni products, you can contact us to arrange.

However, if you'd prefer, we can arrange to have your machine shipped to a local freight terminal/location for pickup instead. Let us know your city/state (or ZIP code), and we’d be happy to check the nearest terminal options for you.
