You have reached the point where the equipment needs to stop being a variable and start being a constant. Choosing a machine with a saturated grouphead is an admission that you value thermal stability over marketing promises, especially when the demand for drinks extends into the afternoon. This is about moving from a hobbyist's curiosity to a practitioner’s precision. It is time to stop adjusting your technique to fit the machine’s limitations.
Product Features
Saturated Grouphead
A saturated brew group integrated with the coffee boiler provides thermal mass at the grouphead, improving temperature stability during extraction. That stability helps produce more consistent shot temperature and extraction across consecutive pulls.
Dual Boiler System
Two dedicated boilers—a brass coffee boiler (0.14 L) and a high-volume stainless-steel steam boiler (1.6 L)—let you brew and steam at the same time for uninterrupted workflow. The steam boiler is managed by a pressurestat to keep steam pressure consistent during milk texturing.
Smartphone Wi-Fi Control
The Verve broadcasts its own Wi-Fi so you can use a smartphone app to program brewing temperature and pre-infusion time before extraction. Save and adjust these settings from your device to reproduce dialed-in profiles shot after shot.
Tank Or Direct Connect
Switchable plumbing lets you run the machine from the removable 5-liter reservoir or hook it to a direct water line for continuous service. The open-top reservoir is easy to clean and refill, and a water softener is already fitted inside the tank to help prevent limescale.
58 mm Portafilter
A commercial-size 58 mm portafilter with a wooden handle and supplied 1-cup, 2-cup and blind baskets gives you pro-level dosing options and compatibility with standard accessories. A trip tray extender is included to fit smaller cups without changing your workflow.
Rotary Pump & Dual Gauge
A rotary pump paired with a dual-scale pump pressure gauge/steam boiler pressure manometer (0–2 and 0–16 bar scales) lets you monitor both brew and steam pressures for tuning and troubleshooting. The machine also features a 4-hole steam tip to accelerate and control milk frothing.
The Coffeeionado Take
Who's It For:
Home espresso practitioners who want thermal stability — The saturated grouphead delivers the kind of temperature consistency that eliminates cooling flushes entirely
Enthusiasts pulling afternoon milk drinks — The 1.6L steam boiler has the capacity to keep steaming through a full household of drinks without recovery delays
Home users upgrading from entry-level espresso — PID control and simultaneous brew/steam give you the workflow upgrade without requiring you to manage extraction variables yourself
Right For You If:
You are pulling 50–75 shots daily and want a machine where the grouphead temperature matches the PID setting, not a hopeful estimate.
You have the counter space for a full-size Italian machine and a 220V outlet ready.
You value design and build quality — this machine is as much a centerpiece as it is a tool.
Things to Consider:
The 0.14L brew boiler is very small — you will get excellent single-shot temperature stability, but back-to-back straight espresso shots will need brief recovery between pulls.
The app-based interface means no physical display on the machine itself; if you prefer tactile buttons and an on-board screen, this may feel disconnected.
Pressure profiling is available but requires additional installation — it is not a stock feature, so budget for that if it matters to you.
Our Take:
The Elektra Verve is the machine for people who care as much about what sits on their counter as what ends up in the cup — the saturated grouphead is the real differentiator here, giving you commercial-grade thermal stability in a package that actually looks at home in a kitchen. If you are the type who wants to stop temperature-surfing and start focusing purely on grind and dose, this is a beautiful way to get there.

Dual Boiler Espresso Machine
A dual boiler espresso machine is engineered with two distinct boilers: one for brewing espresso at the perfect temperature and another for generating steam to froth milk. Unlike single boiler machines that share one boiler for both tasks, dual boilers enable simultaneous brewing and steaming, ensuring consistent temperature and pressure for superior quality espresso beverages.
Thermostability
The saturated group heads keep your shots stable while the double boilers mean you can brew and steam at the same time, not having to worry or wait on the temperature to cool down. Separate steam and brew boilers are something that is especially important for all coffee lovers - it guarantees temperature stability: the key to consistently brewing perfect coffee. The advanced group head makes sure, that water temperatures stay stable at all times.
Joystick Controls
Elektra has installed a unique steam control device called the "joystick" that can produce strong and adjustable dry steam in any direction. This makes it very easy to create frothy milk for various drinks. Additionally, there is also a joystick control for immediate access to boiling water, which is useful for making tea or Americano. A manual lever is used to pull shots of espresso, adding a nostalgic touch to the process. If you like using shorter cups, a riser is included in the tray so that taller cups can also fit.
Sleek Italian Design
The Elektra Verve boasts an attractive stainless steel exterior, with sleek wood panels on the sides and knobs, dual boilers, preinfusion, water softener, a 5 liter water tank reservoir, and a 58mm portafilter. It's a slight change away from Elektra's standard stainless-steel design. Despite being classified as a semi-commercial grade machine, the Elektra Verve can be used in a personal espresso bar at home. A machine we know every coffee lover will want.
Dual Boilers
We already mentioned the innovative nature of this particular solution used by Elektra. As the newest technologically innovative dual boiler espresso machine by Elektra, it has made waves in the specialty coffee industry.
What we didn't mention, is that this coffee machine also comes with a PID: a system that allows you to program the temperatures for both the brass coffee boiler and stainless steel steam boiler - compared to other machines available on the market, this makes Verve one of the most competitive devices in its price range, as you get unprecedented amount of control over the brewing process.
Quiet Mornings
If you want exceptional espresso and an espresso machine that makes minimal noise in the morning, then you found the perfect machine. The Elektra verve espresso machine is built with professional parts and has a rotary pump inside. This means much quieter operations compared to vibratory pumps.
Bluetooth Connected
Yes, Verve can be controlled with a smartphone! With the Bluetooth connectivity you can easily adjust brewing temperatures and pre-infusion times. You can program the temperature for both the brass boilers inside. If that wasn't enough, it also allows you to program recipes by your phone. You can create your own recipe, save them, and make them available in the future. Make your espresso exactly how you like it!
Plumbed or Tank, You Choose
Control the set up of your Verve home espresso machine by brewing with water from the tank or directly plumb it to your home water lines! This feature certainly makes Elektra Verve one of the most versatile devices, as it is perfect for home baristas, as well as coffee shops and coffee professionals, who would like to use it on various kinds of coffee exhibitions or even for... trips!
This feature also allows its users to experiment with different kinds of water - a key (and often underrated) ingredient of coffee! So go ahead and find what works best for you - don't limit yourself to one solution only!
Who Needs the Elektra Verve?

Advisory
Install a water filtration system to maintain consistent water quality and extend the life of your espresso machine.
What This Means
Water that’s too hard → scale buildup, reduced performance
Water that’s too soft → flat, dull espresso
Improper water can damage internal components over time
Machine-Specific Considerations
Some machines (especially with stainless steel boilers) require stricter limits on chlorides
Does the Elektra Verve have a rotary pump or a vibratory pump?
The Elektra Verve is equipped with a rotary pump. Rotary pumps are typically quieter and more durable than vibratory pumps and are better suited for machines that can be plumbed in, like the Verve.
Does the Elektra Verve support pre-infusion and can it be adjusted?
Yes. The Elektra Verve offers pre-infusion, and you can customize pre-infusion parameters (such as duration and pressure profiling) through the machine’s app-based control system. This helps improve extraction consistency and flavor, especially with lighter roasts.
Can the Elektra Verve be direct plumbed, and does it also have a water tank?
Yes. The Elektra Verve is designed for both direct plumbing and reservoir use. It includes an internal water tank for pour-over operation and also has connections for hooking it directly to a water line, giving you flexibility based on your kitchen or café setup.
Does the Elektra Verve have dual boilers or a heat-exchanger system?
The Elektra Verve is a dual-boiler machine. One boiler is dedicated to brewing and the other to steam and hot water, allowing you to brew espresso and steam milk simultaneously with stable temperatures and strong steam performance.
Are the steam and hot water wands on the Elektra Verve cool-touch or no-burn?
Yes. The Elektra Verve features cool-touch (no-burn) steam and hot water wands. They stay significantly cooler to the touch than traditional wands, reducing the risk of burns and making cleanup easier since milk is less likely to bake onto the metal.
Can I control the Elektra Verve with a smartphone app, and what settings can I adjust?
Yes. The Elektra Verve has built-in Wi-Fi and can be controlled via a companion smartphone app. Through the app you can adjust brew temperature, steam temperature, pre-infusion parameters, shot profiles, and view shot timers and basic usage stats, giving you more precise control over your espresso.
What type of power and voltage does the Elektra Verve require for use in the United States?
For US buyers, the Elektra Verve is configured for 110–120V, 60 Hz operation and uses a standard grounded household outlet. Exact amperage and wattage can vary by production run, so it’s recommended to confirm the current spec sheet and ensure your circuit can safely handle the load.
Is the Elektra Verve suitable for light commercial use or just home use?
The Elektra Verve is primarily marketed as a high-end prosumer machine for home use, but its dual boilers, rotary pump, and plumb-in capability make it suitable for light commercial applications such as small offices, tasting rooms, or low-volume cafés. For heavy, continuous service, a full commercial machine is recommended.

Please note, any discounts subject to void the paid installation offer.
At Coffeeionado, professional installation is included with qualifying espresso machine purchases. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible — from coordinating the technician to getting your machine up and running on day one.
Which Machines Qualify
Free professional installation is included with all espresso machines of 2 groups or more where indicated on the product listing. This policy applies to espresso machines only and does not cover other coffee equipment such as grinders, brewers, or accessories.
If you are unsure whether your machine qualifies, contact us before purchasing and we'll confirm.
What's Included
Travel and labor costs for installation within the technician's service area (up to 2 hours of travel)
Setup, basic programming, and commissioning of the equipment
Scheduling during regular business hours, Monday through Friday
Associated taxes and fees related to the installation itself
Installation must be completed within 30 days of delivery of the equipment. The installation benefit lapses after this window and cannot be reinstated.
How Installation Is Arranged
Depending on your purchase, installation is handled one of two ways:
Arranged directly — In many cases, Coffeeionado or the manufacturer will coordinate and pay the technician on your behalf. We will contact you after your order is processed to schedule the visit.
Reimbursement — In some cases, you may be asked to arrange the installation locally using an authorized technician and submit a rebate form for reimbursement. Once approved, the covered amount will be refunded to the original payment method used for your order.
We will confirm which arrangement applies to your purchase at the time of order confirmation. If you have questions before purchasing, contact us and we'll walk you through it.
What's Not Included
The following are outside the scope of the installation policy and remain the customer's responsibility:
Travel or callout costs beyond the first 2 hours of the technician's travel time — if your location falls outside the local service area, the overage is your responsibility
Water filtration systems and installation materials — including plumbing fittings, tubing, plugs, outlets, and any other ancillary components required to prepare the site
Electrical or plumbing work — site preparation must be completed before the technician arrives
Training on equipment operation — installation covers commissioning only, not barista or operational training
False start or callout fees if the technician arrives and the site is not ready for installation
Important: If a technician arrives and cannot complete the installation because the site is unprepared, you will be responsible for any callout or false start fee charged by the technician. However, your installation benefit remains intact — the visit will be rescheduled at no additional cost to your policy.
Water Filtration Requirement
Water filtration must be installed and operational before or at the time of installation. This is not optional — operating a commercial espresso machine without proper filtration will void the manufacturer's warranty. If filtration is not in place at the time of the technician's visit, installation may need to be rescheduled and the callout fee will be your responsibility.
If you need guidance on water filtration requirements for your machine, contact us before scheduling your installation.
Service Area
Installation coverage is tied to the manufacturer's authorized technician service area, generally within a 1.5-hour radius of the nearest certified technician. If your location falls outside this area, Coffeeionado will make reasonable efforts to arrange a local authorized technician, but travel costs beyond the 2-hour coverage limit remain your responsibility.
Not sure if you're in a service area? Contact us before purchasing and we'll check your location.
After Installation
Once your machine is installed, we'll provide referrals for authorized service technicians in your area for ongoing maintenance and repairs. Coffeeionado offers lifetime support on all equipment we sell — we're here long after the install is done.
Governing Terms
This installation policy forms part of your agreement with Coffeeionado and is subject to our Terms of Sale and Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service governs.
Can I pick up the machine at your store?
We do not have a showroom or storefront for customer pickups, so orders cannot be picked up directly from us. That said, there is an exception for La Spaziale and La Pavoni products, you can contact us to arrange.
However, if you'd prefer, we can arrange to have your machine shipped to a local freight terminal/location for pickup instead. Let us know your city/state (or ZIP code), and we’d be happy to check the nearest terminal options for you.
