Powering Hundreds of Businesses Including:

Placing a Faema E61 on your bar tells your customers you value the history of the craft as much as the quality of the cup. This two-group configuration handles the heavy transition from the morning rush to the afternoon lull without losing its composure. The adjustable thermal balancing system allows you to fine-tune the temperature for specific blends, providing a level of consistency that your regulars will actually notice. It is a machine that anchors a space, signaling that your coffee program is built on substance rather than trends.

Product Features

2-Group Configuration

Dual-group layout supports two baristas working simultaneously, doubling output without doubling the footprint. This configuration is the standard for mid-to-high-volume café service and keeps line flow efficient.

Volumetric Dosing

Program shot volumes once and the machine doses precisely every time. The Faema E61 Jubile uses programmable 5-button volumetric keypads so baristas can maintain consistent dosing at speed and focus on service during peak periods.

Adjustable Thermal Balancing System

An adjustable thermal balancing system, combined with the heat-exchange and thermo syphon circulation, provides independent group temperature control for shot-to-shot stability. That precision thermal management helps maintain extraction consistency under heavy use.

Built-in Volumetric Pump

A built-in volumetric pump delivers significant space efficiency by keeping pumping hardware internal and reducing external plumbing complexity. The compact setup preserves valuable counter space in busy commercial environments.

Dual Stainless Steel Steam Wands

Two stainless-steel steam wands with user-friendly twist knobs let baristas texture milk simultaneously and withstand continuous commercial use. This hands-on steam configuration speeds service for high volumes of milk-based drinks.

Commercial Build Quality

Durable stainless-steel construction, commercial-grade components, and professional serviceability are designed for daily operation and routine maintenance. Onboard features like pressure and water gauges plus a removable drip tray make monitoring and servicing straightforward.

The Coffeeionado Take

Who's It For:

  • Established café operators — The iconic E61 grouphead delivers proven thermal stability and mechanical pre-infusion that has been the gold standard in commercial espresso for over 60 years
  • Coffee programs that value heritage and craft — Placing a Faema E61 on your bar signals to customers that your program is built on the history of the craft, not just the latest trends
  • Operators seeking reliable two-group throughput — An 11L heat-exchange boiler and programmable volumetric dosing handle 150–250 shots per shift with the consistency that E61 engineering is known for

Right For You If:

  • You are pulling 150–250 shots per shift and want the thermal stability and mechanical pre-infusion of an E61 grouphead with modern volumetric dosing convenience.
  • You have a direct water line and 220–240V power circuit ready for a full-sized commercial installation.
  • You appreciate the E61's 60-year track record and want a machine that anchors your bar with both performance and presence.

Things to Consider:

  • The 30–45 minute warm-up is the tradeoff for E61's massive brass grouphead — this is expected for the category, but plan your opening routine accordingly or use a smart plug timer.
  • The analog display and traditional interface are intentional design choices — if your team needs digital feedback for training or recipe management, this machine operates on a more traditional paradigm.
  • The E61 mechanical pre-infusion is passive (lever-controlled), not programmable electronic pre-infusion — baristas who want precise pre-infusion timing should understand this distinction before committing.

Our Take:

The Faema E61 Jubile is a piece of espresso history that still earns its place on commercial bars today — the E61 grouphead's thermal stability and mechanical pre-infusion are proven over six decades, and the two-group volumetric configuration brings that heritage into modern service. If your café values the craft and you want a machine that tells that story to every customer who walks in, this is the one.

Water Quality & Machine Protection

Proper water quality is essential for optimal espresso extraction and long-term machine health. Use the guidelines below to ensure your machine performs at its best.

Parameter Ideal Range Why It Matters
Total Hardness 50-170 ppm Prevents scale buildup while maintaining flavor
pH Level 6.5-7.5 Ensures balanced extraction and protects internal components
Chlorine 0 ppm Eliminates off-flavors and prevents corrosion
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) 70-150 ppm Optimal mineral content for extraction and taste
Total Alkalinity ~7.0 Stabilizes acidity and extraction
Chloride 0-28 ppm Prevents corrosion (especially in steel boilers)

Important Note

Always refer to your machine's manual for specific water quality recommendations and maintenance schedules.

Advisory

Install a water filtration system to maintain consistent water quality and extend the life of your espresso machine.

What This Means

  • Water that’s too hard → scale buildup, reduced performance
  • Water that’s too soft → flat, dull espresso
  • Improper water can damage internal components over time

Machine-Specific Considerations

  • These guidelines are safe for most home espresso machines
  • Some machines (especially with stainless steel boilers) require stricter limits on chlorides

Product FAQ

Does the Faema E61 Jubile A2 have a rotary pump or a vibratory pump?

The Faema E61 Jubile A2 uses a commercial-grade rotary pump, which is designed for direct plumbing, quieter operation, and consistent pressure delivery suitable for high-volume cafés and restaurants.

Is the Faema E61 Jubile A2 a direct-plumb only machine, or can it use a water tank?

The E61 Jubile A2 is a direct-plumb machine only; it must be connected to a water line and does not have an internal reservoir. Professional installation and proper water filtration are strongly recommended.

Does this machine feature automatic pre-infusion like the original E61 group head design?

Yes. The Faema E61 Jubile A2 retains the classic E61 thermosiphon group design and includes mechanical pre-infusion. Each shot benefits from a brief low-pressure saturation phase that helps improve extraction consistency and crema.

Is the Faema E61 Jubile A2 truly volumetric, and can I program shot volumes for each group?

Yes. The Jubile A2 is a volumetric espresso machine. Each group head has programmable dosing buttons that allow you to set and store multiple shot volumes (such as single and double) for consistent, repeatable extractions.

Does it have cool-touch (no-burn) steam wands and a dedicated hot water tap?

The specific configuration can vary by importer, but most US-spec Faema E61 Jubile A2 units ship with stainless steam wands that are not fully cool-touch. They are traditional commercial steam wands that will get hot during use. The machine does include a dedicated hot-water tap for Americanos and tea.

What type of power and electrical requirements does the Faema E61 Jubile A2 have for US installation?

Typical US configurations of the Faema E61 Jubile A2 require a 220–240V, 50/60 Hz, dedicated circuit with adequate amperage (often in the 20–30A range, depending on model year and boiler size). Always verify the exact electrical specs on the machine data plate and consult a licensed electrician for installation.

How large is the boiler, and is it a heat exchanger or dual-boiler design?

The Faema E61 Jubile A2 uses a large single copper boiler with a heat-exchanger system. The main boiler supplies steam and hot water, while each group has its own heat exchanger circuit for brewing, enabling simultaneous brewing, steaming, and hot-water dispensing in a commercial setting.

Is the E61 Jubile A2 suitable for high-volume commercial use, and how many drinks per day can it handle?

Yes. The E61 Jubile A2 is a 2-group commercial machine designed for cafés, restaurants, and specialty coffee bars. With proper installation and maintenance, it can comfortably handle several hundred espresso-based drinks per day, though actual capacity depends on workflow, grinder speed, and barista experience.

How does free installation work?

Please note, any discounts subject to void the paid installation offer.

At Coffeeionado, professional installation is included with qualifying espresso machine purchases. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible — from coordinating the technician to getting your machine up and running on day one.

Which Machines Qualify

Free professional installation is included with all espresso machines of 2 groups or more where indicated on the product listing. This policy applies to espresso machines only and does not cover other coffee equipment such as grinders, brewers, or accessories.

If you are unsure whether your machine qualifies, contact us before purchasing and we'll confirm.

What's Included

  • Travel and labor costs for installation within the technician's service area (up to 2 hours of travel)
  • Setup, basic programming, and commissioning of the equipment
  • Scheduling during regular business hours, Monday through Friday
  • Associated taxes and fees related to the installation itself

Installation must be completed within 30 days of delivery of the equipment. The installation benefit lapses after this window and cannot be reinstated.

How Installation Is Arranged

Depending on your purchase, installation is handled one of two ways:

Arranged directly — In many cases, Coffeeionado or the manufacturer will coordinate and pay the technician on your behalf. We will contact you after your order is processed to schedule the visit.

Reimbursement — In some cases, you may be asked to arrange the installation locally using an authorized technician and submit a rebate form for reimbursement. Once approved, the covered amount will be refunded to the original payment method used for your order.

We will confirm which arrangement applies to your purchase at the time of order confirmation. If you have questions before purchasing, contact us and we'll walk you through it.

What's Not Included

The following are outside the scope of the installation policy and remain the customer's responsibility:

  • Travel or callout costs beyond the first 2 hours of the technician's travel time — if your location falls outside the local service area, the overage is your responsibility
  • Water filtration systems and installation materials — including plumbing fittings, tubing, plugs, outlets, and any other ancillary components required to prepare the site
  • Electrical or plumbing work — site preparation must be completed before the technician arrives
  • Training on equipment operation — installation covers commissioning only, not barista or operational training
  • False start or callout fees if the technician arrives and the site is not ready for installation

Important: If a technician arrives and cannot complete the installation because the site is unprepared, you will be responsible for any callout or false start fee charged by the technician. However, your installation benefit remains intact — the visit will be rescheduled at no additional cost to your policy.

Water Filtration Requirement

Water filtration must be installed and operational before or at the time of installation. This is not optional — operating a commercial espresso machine without proper filtration will void the manufacturer's warranty. If filtration is not in place at the time of the technician's visit, installation may need to be rescheduled and the callout fee will be your responsibility.

If you need guidance on water filtration requirements for your machine, contact us before scheduling your installation.

Service Area

Installation coverage is tied to the manufacturer's authorized technician service area, generally within a 1.5-hour radius of the nearest certified technician. If your location falls outside this area, Coffeeionado will make reasonable efforts to arrange a local authorized technician, but travel costs beyond the 2-hour coverage limit remain your responsibility.

Not sure if you're in a service area? Contact us before purchasing and we'll check your location.

After Installation

Once your machine is installed, we'll provide referrals for authorized service technicians in your area for ongoing maintenance and repairs. Coffeeionado offers lifetime support on all equipment we sell — we're here long after the install is done.

Governing Terms

This installation policy forms part of your agreement with Coffeeionado and is subject to our Terms of Sale and Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service governs.

Can I pick up the machine at your store?

We do not have a showroom or storefront for customer pickups, so orders cannot be picked up directly from us. That said, there is an exception for La Spaziale and La Pavoni products, you can contact us to arrange.

However, if you'd prefer, we can arrange to have your machine shipped to a local freight terminal/location for pickup instead. Let us know your city/state (or ZIP code), and we’d be happy to check the nearest terminal options for you.
