S1 Mini Vivaldi II Espresso Machine by La Spaziale
Though it's not as compact as some mini machines, the S1 Mini Vivaldi denotes that this coffee machine is tank/reservoir only. The folks at La Spaziale thought things through with the S1 Mini and included the 2.4 liter tank at the front of the machine. No more, moving the machine out or removing cups to refill the reservoir.
Introducing the New La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi II
This La Spaziale espresso machine comes with 53 mm portafilters, which are a little deeper than normal thus making up the difference from the standard 58 mm. Overall it is super easy to use with its programmable volumetric shot and temperature controls, dialing in and keeping consistent shots has never been easier.
2 Year Warranty ($199+ Value)
When investing in coffee equipment, peace of mind is worth its weight in gold. That’s why we proudly offer a 2-year warranty with every S1 machine purchase, a value of over $199. This warranty is your guarantee against manufacturer's defects and ensures that all parts are covered for an entire year from the date of purchase. We understand that our customers deserve the very best. Don't let uncertainty overshadow your love for freshly brewed coffee – take advantage of this limited-time offer and experience unparalleled assurance with your next coffee machine purchase.
Paid Shipping ($89+ Value)
At Coffeeionado, we understand the frustration of hidden costs when making online purchases. This is why we're thrilled to announce that we now cover all shipping, freight, and handling charges for our premium coffee equipment within the continental USA. Gone are the days of considering additional fees as you add items to your cart.
Updated LED Temperature Controls
You used to see the temperature in 5-degree steps, ranging from 85 to 120 degrees Celsius. But now with the updated Vivaldi II, you can view it in precise 1-degree intervals, from 91 to 97 degrees Celsius.
Decreased Delta in Temperature Regulation
When it comes to regulating temperature, the Delta has been reduced. So, what does this mean for you? Well, in the old model, the heater would only kick in when there was a one-degree Celsius drop in temperature. But with the new Vivaldi II, the heater springs into action at just half a degree drop. In simpler terms, this upgrade boosts precision in maintaining temperature in the group boiler and amps up performance in the steam boilers. Also, there's an improved temperature sensor probe now - it's fully immersed in the boilers for better reliability and quicker response times compared to its predecessor.
Programmable Offset Differential
You can now easily adjust the LED temperature display on the front of the machine to match the actual temperature at the group, rather than inside the group boiler. The older Mini Vivaldi II machines had a limited 3-degree adjustment for this feature. However, we decided to expand this range to +/- 8 degrees through a simple software update to ensure there are no issues. Rest assured, we set this offset during our bench tests before shipping each machine, saving you from needing costly equipment for testing and adjustments.
Dual Boiler Espresso Machine
This machine by La Spaziale is a dual boiler system and is solidly built from steel and is more than aesthetically pleasing, this machines purrs with its quiet vibratory pump and delivers excellent shots.
Because it is a double boiler espresso machine, the Mini Vivaldi is a wonderful tool for both traditional espresso and milk based drinks and it is a quiet worker. It comes with a standard nickel plated, brass & copper boilers. Whether at home or in the office this sleek, conversation starter will quickly and quietly perform.

Programmable Dosing Volume
At the touch of a button you can extract your programmed shot. Let your baristas concentrate on other tasks while the espresso maker automatically pulls your shots. Easily program up to 4 different recipes and there is also a button for manual shots too.
Add Pre-Infusion Chamber for Increased Capabilities
A pre-infusion chamber for the Mini Vivaldi II and Dream T that we can install for free. This product acts similar to the way the pre-infusion does on an E61 group machine, allowing for water to enter the grounds before the pressure of the machine kicks on. By doing so the coffee inside the portafilter swells and gives a more well-rounded, smooth tasting shot of espresso. It helps aid in forgiveness if your tamp or your grind is slightly off.
Non-Commerical Cafe Espresso Machine
This dual boiler espresso machine is not to be used in a commercial setting since it will void the warranty. This is the perfect home espresso machine; it has all the features you could possibly need to consistently keep pulling great tasting shots. If you need an espresso machine for commercial use please shop the La Spaziale Vivaldi II - it comes with warranty coverage in commercial/retail environments.

Water Quality & Machine Protection
Proper water quality is essential for optimal espresso extraction and long-term machine health. Use the guidelines below to ensure your machine performs at its best.
| Parameter | Ideal Range | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Total Hardness | 50-170 ppm | Prevents scale buildup while maintaining flavor |
| pH Level | 6.5-7.5 | Ensures balanced extraction and protects internal components |
| Chlorine | 0 ppm | Eliminates off-flavors and prevents corrosion |
| TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) | 70-150 ppm | Optimal mineral content for extraction and taste |
| Total Alkalinity | ~7.0 | Stabilizes acidity and extraction |
| Chloride | 0-28 ppm | Prevents corrosion (especially in steel boilers) |
Important Note
Always refer to your machine's manual for specific water quality recommendations and maintenance schedules.
Advisory
Install a water filtration system to maintain consistent water quality and extend the life of your espresso machine.
What This Means
- Water that’s too hard → scale buildup, reduced performance
- Water that’s too soft → flat, dull espresso
- Improper water can damage internal components over time
Machine-Specific Considerations
- These guidelines are safe for most home espresso machines
- Some machines (especially with stainless steel boilers) require stricter limits on chlorides
What We'd Tell You In Store
How to Choose a Home Espresso Machine
The machine that's right for someone who wants great espresso with minimal daily effort is not the same machine that's right for someone who wants to learn pressure profiling. Before you look at specs or prices, two questions do most of the work: how involved do you want to be, and what's your realistic total budget — including the grinder.
Lever and Paddle Espresso Machines: How Much Control Do You Want?
A standard espresso machine makes one decision for you: how the shot is extracted. Paddle machines, spring levers, and direct lever machines give that decision back — in increasing degrees, and with increasing demands on the person holding the lever. This guide covers the full spectrum.
How to Pick Out a Home Grinder
The grinder is the part of your espresso setup that most people buy last and most people wish they'd bought better first. Every shot you pull — its extraction speed, its flavor, its consistency from one morning to the next — is determined first at the grinder. A great machine cannot fix a poor grind.
Setting Up Your Home Espresso Machine Right
The decisions made in the first few days — where the machine lives, what water goes through it, how the workflow is arranged around it — determine a lot about whether espresso becomes a daily ritual you look forward to or a recurring source of frustration.
