Powering Hundreds of Businesses Including:

You have reached the stage where your technique is being held back by a machine that can’t decide if it wants to brew or steam. The Mini Vivaldi II provides the stability of dual boilers without requiring you to drill holes in your countertop for a water line. It offers one-degree temperature control because you know that "close enough" rarely is. It is time to own a machine that takes your morning as seriously as you do.

Product Features

One-Degree Temperature Control

Fine temperature control at the group with one-degree adjustability shown on the new LED (91–97 °C). A submerged probe plus a decreased delta (heater reacts at a 0.5 °C drop) tighten stability so extraction temperature holds shot after shot.

Dual Boilers

Separate brew and steam boilers let you pull shots and steam milk at the same time without sacrifice. The Mini Vivaldi II pairs a .45 L copper/brass brew boiler with a 1.2 L stainless service boiler for café-style recovery and stable steam on demanding milk drinks.

Programmable Offset Differential

Programmable Offset Differential lets you align the front LED to the actual group temperature rather than the boiler reading, now configurable ±8 degrees. Each machine is bench-tested and the offset is set before shipping for reliable calibration out of the box.

Volumetric Dosing (Touchpad)

Volumetric dosing adjustable through the touchpad gives repeatable, programmable shot volumes for consistent recipes and faster service. Ideal for dialing in and reproducing the exact cup you want under changing grind or dose.

Optional Pre-Infusion Chamber

Add an optional pre-infusion chamber that functions like the pre-infusion on an E61 group; the brew group is pre-drilled and tapped for easy installation. When ordered with the machine the pre-infusion chamber is installed at no additional charge.

Non-Plumbed, Compact Design

Designed as a Mini (non-plumbed) version for tight counters—manual fill with a 2.4 L reservoir and a reduced overall height of 15.1 in. gives you commercial features without permanent plumbing, fitting serious home or small-scale pro setups.

The Coffeeionado Take

Who's It For:

  • Home users upgrading from a single-boiler or HX machine — Dual boilers and PID give you the temperature stability that entry-level gear cannot deliver, in a compact footprint
  • Daily home espresso drinkers pulling 2–8 drinks — Simultaneous brew and steam with a 15–20 minute warm-up fits a busy morning routine
  • Enthusiasts who want La Spaziale quality without plumbing — The reservoir-only design means you can set it up anywhere with a standard outlet

It's Right For You If:

  • You are pulling 2–10 shots daily and want dual-boiler consistency without committing to a full-size machine.
  • You are working with 110-120V power and want a reservoir-only setup — no plumbing required.
  • You want a 53mm portafilter system with commercial La Spaziale roots and do not need 58mm accessory compatibility.

Things to Consider:

  • The 53mm portafilter is non-standard for home espresso — your existing 58mm baskets and accessories will not work, and the accessory ecosystem is smaller.
  • The vibration pump is quieter than a rotary but means no plumb-in option — you are committed to reservoir duty.
  • The 0.5L espresso boiler is compact — back-to-back espresso shots recover fine, but sustained milk drink production will push the steam boiler.

Our Take:

The Mini Vivaldi II is La Spaziale is compact dual boiler — it gives you the same commercial grouphead and PID control as the full-size Vivaldi in a package that fits smaller counters and does not require plumbing. If you want La Spaziale reliability in a reservoir-only setup, this is the machine that delivers without demanding a dedicated water line.

S1 Mini Vivaldi II Espresso Machine by La Spaziale

Though it's not as compact as some mini machines, the S1 Mini Vivaldi denotes that this coffee machine is tank/reservoir only. The folks at La Spaziale thought things through with the S1 Mini and included the 2.4 liter tank at the front of the machine. No more, moving the machine out or removing cups to refill the reservoir.

Introducing the New La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi II

This La Spaziale espresso machine comes with 53 mm portafilters, which are a little deeper than normal thus making up the difference from the standard 58 mm. Overall it is super easy to use with its programmable volumetric shot and temperature controls, dialing in and keeping consistent shots has never been easier.

2 Year Warranty ($199+ Value)

When investing in coffee equipment, peace of mind is worth its weight in gold. That’s why we proudly offer a 2-year warranty with every S1 machine purchase, a value of over $199. This warranty is your guarantee against manufacturer's defects and ensures that all parts are covered for an entire year from the date of purchase. We understand that our customers deserve the very best. Don't let uncertainty overshadow your love for freshly brewed coffee – take advantage of this limited-time offer and experience unparalleled assurance with your next coffee machine purchase.

Paid Shipping ($89+ Value)

At Coffeeionado, we understand the frustration of hidden costs when making online purchases. This is why we're thrilled to announce that we now cover all shipping, freight, and handling charges for our premium coffee equipment within the continental USA. Gone are the days of considering additional fees as you add items to your cart.

Updated LED Temperature Controls

You used to see the temperature in 5-degree steps, ranging from 85 to 120 degrees Celsius. But now with the updated Vivaldi II, you can view it in precise 1-degree intervals, from 91 to 97 degrees Celsius.

Decreased Delta in Temperature Regulation

When it comes to regulating temperature, the Delta has been reduced. So, what does this mean for you? Well, in the old model, the heater would only kick in when there was a one-degree Celsius drop in temperature. But with the new Vivaldi II, the heater springs into action at just half a degree drop. In simpler terms, this upgrade boosts precision in maintaining temperature in the group boiler and amps up performance in the steam boilers. Also, there's an improved temperature sensor probe now - it's fully immersed in the boilers for better reliability and quicker response times compared to its predecessor.

Programmable Offset Differential

You can now easily adjust the LED temperature display on the front of the machine to match the actual temperature at the group, rather than inside the group boiler. The older Mini Vivaldi II machines had a limited 3-degree adjustment for this feature. However, we decided to expand this range to +/- 8 degrees through a simple software update to ensure there are no issues. Rest assured, we set this offset during our bench tests before shipping each machine, saving you from needing costly equipment for testing and adjustments.

Dual Boiler Espresso Machine

This machine by La Spaziale is a dual boiler system and is solidly built from steel and is more than aesthetically pleasing, this machines purrs with its quiet vibratory pump and delivers excellent shots.

Because it is a double boiler espresso machine, the Mini Vivaldi is a wonderful tool for both traditional espresso and milk based drinks and it is a quiet worker. It comes with a standard nickel plated, brass & copper boilers. Whether at home or in the office this sleek, conversation starter will quickly and quietly perform.

Control Panel

Programmable Dosing Volume

At the touch of a button you can extract your programmed shot. Let your baristas concentrate on other tasks while the espresso maker automatically pulls your shots. Easily program up to 4 different recipes and there is also a button for manual shots too.

Add Pre-Infusion Chamber for Increased Capabilities

A pre-infusion chamber for the Mini Vivaldi II and Dream T that we can install for free. This product acts similar to the way the pre-infusion does on an E61 group machine, allowing for water to enter the grounds before the pressure of the machine kicks on. By doing so the coffee inside the portafilter swells and gives a more well-rounded, smooth tasting shot of espresso. It helps aid in forgiveness if your tamp or your grind is slightly off.

Non-Commerical Cafe Espresso Machine

This dual boiler espresso machine is not to be used in a commercial setting since it will void the warranty. This is the perfect home espresso machine; it has all the features you could possibly need to consistently keep pulling great tasting shots. If you need an espresso machine for commercial use please shop the La Spaziale Vivaldi II - it comes with warranty coverage in commercial/retail environments.

    Water Quality & Machine Protection

Proper water quality is essential for optimal espresso extraction and long-term machine health. Use the guidelines below to ensure your machine performs at its best.

Parameter Ideal Range Why It Matters
Total Hardness 50-170 ppm Prevents scale buildup while maintaining flavor
pH Level 6.5-7.5 Ensures balanced extraction and protects internal components
Chlorine 0 ppm Eliminates off-flavors and prevents corrosion
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) 70-150 ppm Optimal mineral content for extraction and taste
Total Alkalinity ~7.0 Stabilizes acidity and extraction
Chloride 0-28 ppm Prevents corrosion (especially in steel boilers)

    Important Note

Always refer to your machine's manual for specific water quality recommendations and maintenance schedules.

    Advisory

Install a water filtration system to maintain consistent water quality and extend the life of your espresso machine.

    What This Means

    • Water that’s too hard → scale buildup, reduced performance
    • Water that’s too soft → flat, dull espresso
    • Improper water can damage internal components over time

    Machine-Specific Considerations

    • These guidelines are safe for most home espresso machines
    • Some machines (especially with stainless steel boilers) require stricter limits on chlorides

    Product FAQ

Does the La Spaziale S1 Mini Vivaldi II use a rotary pump or a vibratory pump?

The S1 Mini Vivaldi II uses a vibratory pump, not a rotary pump. This lets it run from a water reservoir instead of requiring a direct plumbing line.

Is the Mini Vivaldi II a reservoir-only machine, or can it be direct plumbed?

The Mini Vivaldi II is a tank (reservoir) machine only and does not support direct plumbing. If you want a plumbable version, you would need the standard S1 Vivaldi II model.

Does the La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi II have pre-infusion, and is it adjustable?

Yes. The Mini Vivaldi II offers programmable pre-infusion when used with a compatible plumbing kit or pre-infusion chamber. On reservoir-only setups, it has an electronic pre-infusion function that briefly wets the puck before the full shot, but the style and adjustability of pre-infusion may vary depending on your specific configuration and firmware.

What type and size of boilers does the Mini Vivaldi II have, and are they dual boiler?

The Mini Vivaldi II is a dual‑boiler machine: it has a dedicated brew boiler (approximately 0.45–0.5 L) and a steam boiler (approximately 1.2–1.5 L, depending on production run). This allows you to brew espresso and steam milk at the same time with stable temperatures.

Does the Mini Vivaldi II include cool-touch (no-burn) steam and hot-water wands?

Most current Mini Vivaldi II units include a cool‑touch (no‑burn) steam wand, meaning the exterior stays significantly cooler than traditional wands. However, the hot‑water wand may still get hot to the touch. Check the specific retailer’s listing to confirm the exact wand style on the current batch.

Can I adjust the brew temperature on the Mini Vivaldi II, and if so, how precise is it?

Yes. The Mini Vivaldi II has an electronic temperature control system that allows you to adjust brew temperature in small increments (typically 1°F or 1°C steps within a defined range). Adjustments are made using the front panel buttons and indicator LEDs rather than a PID display, but temperature control is quite precise and repeatable.

What kind of power does the Mini Vivaldi II require, and can it run on a standard US household outlet?

The US version of the Mini Vivaldi II is typically a 110–120 V machine that runs on a standard 15‑amp household circuit. It uses a regular US plug, so no special wiring is required in most homes. Always verify the voltage and amperage on the product label or retailer’s spec sheet before installing.

Does the La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi II come with a built-in water filter or softener, and what water quality is recommended?

The machine itself does not have a built‑in filtration or softening system. When using the reservoir, many owners use either in‑tank softening cartridges or filtered/softened water to reduce scale buildup. La Spaziale and most US retailers recommend using water with low hardness and low alkalinity (often under ~50 ppm total hardness) to protect the boilers and maintain performance.

Please note, any discounts subject to void the paid installation offer.

At Coffeeionado, professional installation is included with qualifying espresso machine purchases. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible — from coordinating the technician to getting your machine up and running on day one.

    Which Machines Qualify

Free professional installation is included with all espresso machines of 2 groups or more where indicated on the product listing. This policy applies to espresso machines only and does not cover other coffee equipment such as grinders, brewers, or accessories.

If you are unsure whether your machine qualifies, contact us before purchasing and we'll confirm.

    What's Included

    • Travel and labor costs for installation within the technician's service area (up to 2 hours of travel)
    • Setup, basic programming, and commissioning of the equipment
    • Scheduling during regular business hours, Monday through Friday
    • Associated taxes and fees related to the installation itself

Installation must be completed within 30 days of delivery of the equipment. The installation benefit lapses after this window and cannot be reinstated.

    How Installation Is Arranged

Depending on your purchase, installation is handled one of two ways:

Arranged directly — In many cases, Coffeeionado or the manufacturer will coordinate and pay the technician on your behalf. We will contact you after your order is processed to schedule the visit.

Reimbursement — In some cases, you may be asked to arrange the installation locally using an authorized technician and submit a rebate form for reimbursement. Once approved, the covered amount will be refunded to the original payment method used for your order.

We will confirm which arrangement applies to your purchase at the time of order confirmation. If you have questions before purchasing, contact us and we'll walk you through it.

    What's Not Included

The following are outside the scope of the installation policy and remain the customer's responsibility:

    • Travel or callout costs beyond the first 2 hours of the technician's travel time — if your location falls outside the local service area, the overage is your responsibility
    • Water filtration systems and installation materials — including plumbing fittings, tubing, plugs, outlets, and any other ancillary components required to prepare the site
    • Electrical or plumbing work — site preparation must be completed before the technician arrives
    • Training on equipment operation — installation covers commissioning only, not barista or operational training
    • False start or callout fees if the technician arrives and the site is not ready for installation

Important: If a technician arrives and cannot complete the installation because the site is unprepared, you will be responsible for any callout or false start fee charged by the technician. However, your installation benefit remains intact — the visit will be rescheduled at no additional cost to your policy.

    Water Filtration Requirement

Water filtration must be installed and operational before or at the time of installation. This is not optional — operating a commercial espresso machine without proper filtration will void the manufacturer's warranty. If filtration is not in place at the time of the technician's visit, installation may need to be rescheduled and the callout fee will be your responsibility.

If you need guidance on water filtration requirements for your machine, contact us before scheduling your installation.

    Service Area

Installation coverage is tied to the manufacturer's authorized technician service area, generally within a 1.5-hour radius of the nearest certified technician. If your location falls outside this area, Coffeeionado will make reasonable efforts to arrange a local authorized technician, but travel costs beyond the 2-hour coverage limit remain your responsibility.

Not sure if you're in a service area? Contact us before purchasing and we'll check your location.

    After Installation

Once your machine is installed, we'll provide referrals for authorized service technicians in your area for ongoing maintenance and repairs. Coffeeionado offers lifetime support on all equipment we sell — we're here long after the install is done.

    Governing Terms

This installation policy forms part of your agreement with Coffeeionado and is subject to our Terms of Sale and Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service governs.

Can I pick up the machine at your store?

We do not have a showroom or storefront for customer pickups, so orders cannot be picked up directly from us. That said, there is an exception for La Spaziale and La Pavoni products, you can contact us to arrange.

However, if you'd prefer, we can arrange to have your machine shipped to a local freight terminal/location for pickup instead. Let us know your city/state (or ZIP code), and we’d be happy to check the nearest terminal options for you.
