S1 Vivaldi II Espresso Machine by
La Spaziale
Barista-worthy beverages can be made right in your kitchen with the S1 Vivaldi Professional Espresso machine. Its sleek, compact design sits at just 15” high, making it easy to tuck away on your counter-tops, but it’s such an attractive appliance you may just want to make this best-seller a centerpiece. Its customizable panels makes it a crowd favorite.
The Vivaldi comes as a plumb-in only machine that features 53 mm portafilters, which are a little deeper than normal thus making up the difference from the standard 58 mm. Overall it is super easy to use with its programmable volumetric shot and temperature controls, dialing in and keeping consistent shots has never been easier.
Dual Boiler for Thermostability
The Vivaldi comes as a dual boiler system and is solidly built from steel and is more than aesthetically pleasing, this machine works extremely quiet with its rotary pump and delivers excellent shots. Because it is a double boiler espresso machine, the Vivaldi is a wonderful tool for both traditional espresso and milk based drinks and it is a quiet worker. It comes with a standard nickel plated, brass top, copper boilers.
Passive Pre-Infusion (Programmable)
The La Spaziale S1 Vivaldi II comes equipped with an incredible feature – the ability to program Passive Pre Infusion for a customized experience, ranging from 1 to 8 seconds. This isn't your average pre-infusion; it's the same advanced technology found in some of the most luxurious machines on the market. The difference? You're in control. Unlike E61 machines, where pre-infusion is out of your hands, here, you determine the duration and water volume for the perfect brew.
Tailor it to your taste preferences and coffee type, set it once, and forget about it. Brewing perfection is just a button press away.
Great Starter Machine
Whether at home or in shop this sleek, conversation starter will quickly and quietly perform. This is the perfect home or small cafe machine (Safety Listing ✔), it has all the features you could possibly need to consistently keep pulling great tasting shots.
Updated LED Temperature Controls
You used to see the temperature in 5-degree steps, ranging from 85 to 120 degrees Celsius. But now with the updated Vivaldi II, you can view it in precise 1-degree intervals, from 91 to 97 degrees Celsius.
Decreased Delta in Temperature Regulation
When it comes to regulating temperature, the Delta has been reduced. So, what does this mean for you? Well, in the old model, the heater would only kick in when there was a one-degree Celsius drop in temperature. But with the new Vivaldi II, the heater springs into action at just half a degree drop. In simpler terms, this upgrade boosts precision in maintaining temperature in the group boiler and amps up performance in the steam boilers. Also, there's an improved temperature sensor probe now - it's fully immersed in the boilers for better reliability and quicker response times compared to its predecessor.
Programmable Offset Differential
You can now easily adjust the LED temperature display on the front of the machine to match the actual temperature at the group, rather than inside the group boiler. The older Mini Vivaldi II machines had a limited 3-degree adjustment for this feature. However, we decided to expand this range to +/- 8 degrees through a simple software update to ensure there are no issues. Rest assured, we set this offset during our bench tests before shipping each machine, saving you from needing costly equipment for testing and adjustments.
Dual Manometers
You'll find dual manometers on espresso machines for monitoring brew and steam pressure. The brew pressure gauge checks the resistance from the coffee grounds in the filter basket when the pump is running to ensure optimal extraction. Meanwhile, the steam pressure gauge on heat exchange or dual boiler machines shows the boiler's steam pressure for safety, usually rated at 2.0 bar for structural integrity.
Bluetooth Connected
With Bluetooth connectivity, you can easily control the scheduling of warm up times and monitor the machine and adjust it from a distance.
How to set up La Spaziale Bluetooth:
- Ensure your espresso machine is available for Bluetooth connection and has a USB port.
- Download the La Spaziale app (machine appropriate) from the Apple or Google store.
- Ope the app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your espresso machine to your smartphone or tablet.
- Once connected, you can use the app to remotely control the machine.
Programmable Dosing Volume
At the touch of a button you can extract your programmed shot. Let your baristas concentrate on other tasks while the espresso maker automatically pulls your shots. Easily program up to 4 different recipes and there is also a button for manual shots too.
Commercial Version
This espresso machine is designed to meet the demands of commercial environments, delivering consistent performance and reliability in cafés, restaurants, or office settings. It comes with a 1-year warranty covering both parts and labor, giving you peace of mind as you serve high-quality espresso day after day.

Water Quality & Machine Protection
Proper water quality is essential for optimal espresso extraction and long-term machine health. Use the guidelines below to ensure your machine performs at its best.
| Parameter | Ideal Range | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Total Hardness | 50-170 ppm | Prevents scale buildup while maintaining flavor |
| pH Level | 6.5-7.5 | Ensures balanced extraction and protects internal components |
| Chlorine | 0 ppm | Eliminates off-flavors and prevents corrosion |
| TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) | 70-150 ppm | Optimal mineral content for extraction and taste |
| Total Alkalinity | ~7.0 | Stabilizes acidity and extraction |
| Chloride | 0-28 ppm | Prevents corrosion (especially in steel boilers) |
Important Note
Always refer to your machine's manual for specific water quality recommendations and maintenance schedules.
Advisory
Install a water filtration system to maintain consistent water quality and extend the life of your espresso machine.
What This Means
- Water that’s too hard → scale buildup, reduced performance
- Water that’s too soft → flat, dull espresso
- Improper water can damage internal components over time
Machine-Specific Considerations
- These guidelines are safe for most home espresso machines
- Some machines (especially with stainless steel boilers) require stricter limits on chlorides

How to choose a commercial espresso machine based on real volume numbers, peak hour output, and drink mix — not vague categories.
How to Choose a Commercial Grinder
Your espresso machine gets all the attention. The grinder does all the work. Every variable that determines shot quality — particle size, extraction evenness, dose consistency — starts at the grinder.
