Powering Hundreds of Businesses Including:

The Mythos Clima Pro pairs 75 mm titanium-coated flat burrs with an actively managed grind chamber, using both heat and dual fans to hold the selected temperature more consistently. It provides three programmable timed doses and approximately 15 kg/hour nominal productivity.

Product Features

Clima Pro Temperature Control

A chamber heater and two cooling fans work around a selected temperature to improve consistency as service pace changes.

75 mm Titanium-Coated Burrs

The 75 mm titanium-coated flat burr set is designed for sustained espresso service and approximately 1,000 kg between planned replacement intervals.

Three Timed Doses + Manual

Store three timed portions for repeatable service and retain manual grinding for setup and purging.

Approximately 4.2 g/s

Manufacturer documentation lists about 15 kg/hour nominal productivity, equivalent to approximately 4.2 g/s.

Stepless Micrometric Control

Continuous grind adjustment allows the fine corrections needed to keep espresso extraction on target.

1.3 kg Hopper

The 1.3 kg hopper balances commercial capacity with a smaller bean load than the Basic and Plus models.

The Coffeeionado Take

Who's It For:

  • Quality-focused cafés seeking more stable grinding conditions through variable rush periods.
  • Bars using the grinder as a primary espresso platform for medium-to-high volume.
  • Operators who prefer a separate tamping station.

It's Right For You If:

  • You run a quality-focused café where grind temperature and recipe stability matter during changing service volume.
  • You want Mythos timed dosing and temperature management without an integrated tamper.

Things to Consider:

  • Clima Pro manages grind-chamber temperature, but it does not eliminate normal dialing-in as coffee, humidity, and recipes change.
  • This model has no integrated tamper; pair it with a separate tamper or compatible automatic tamping solution.
  • The approximately 5 kg/day and 250–400-shot figures are planning estimates rather than manufacturer warranty limits.

Our Take:

The Clima Pro’s value is not simply speed—it is control. Its heater-and-dual-fan system helps keep the grinding chamber closer to a chosen temperature through changes in pace, which can reduce the amount of recipe drift a quality-focused bar must chase.

Product FAQ

What type and size of burrs does the Nuova Simonelli Mythos Clima Espresso Grinder use?

The Nuova Simonelli Mythos Clima uses flat, professional-grade burrs (75 mm) designed specifically for high-end espresso grinding. These large flat burrs provide excellent particle uniformity and help produce consistent shots in busy service environments.

How long do the burrs typically last, and how often should I replace them?

Burr life depends on volume and bean hardness, but for commercial use you can generally expect 2,000–3,000+ pounds (1150–1,600+ kg) of coffee before replacement is recommended. In a busy café this might be every 12–18 months; in lower-volume settings they can last significantly longer. Monitor shot times and taste: when your grind becomes inconsistent even after cleaning and adjustments, it’s time to replace the burrs.

Is the Mythos Clima a stepless grinder, and how precise are the grind adjustments?

Yes. The Mythos Clima is a stepless grinder, meaning you can make infinitely fine adjustments within its range instead of being limited to click-style steps. This allows you to dial in espresso with very high precision for different beans, roast levels, and recipes.

Is this grinder suitable for espresso only, or can it also grind for filter coffee or other brew methods?

The Mythos Clima is optimized for espresso and excels in that range. While it can be adjusted coarser, it’s not ideal as an all-purpose grinder that you regularly switch between espresso and filter settings. It’s best used primarily for espresso in environments where consistency and speed are critical.

What types of settings is this grinder best suited for (café, home, restaurant, etc.)?

The Mythos Clima is designed as a commercial on-demand espresso grinder, ideal for busy cafés, coffee bars, and restaurants with a serious espresso program. It can also be used in low- to medium-volume professional settings such as offices or specialty retail locations that serve espresso-based drinks.

Does the Mythos Clima have timed or manual dosing, and can I program multiple doses?

The grinder offers programmable timed dosing, allowing you to set and store multiple dose presets (such as single and double shots). It also includes a manual dosing mode so you can grind on demand outside of the programmed times when needed.

How fast is the grinder, and can it keep up with a high volume of drinks?

The Mythos Clima is engineered for speed and consistency in commercial service. Typical output for espresso is fast enough to support a high drink volume—producing a standard double-shot dose in just a few seconds. With proper workflow and bar setup, it can comfortably keep pace in busy rush periods at cafés and restaurants.

Does the Mythos Clima have temperature control or a cooling fan to manage heat buildup?

Yes. The ‘Clima’ designation refers to its temperature-management features. The grinder includes an active cooling system and temperature control designed to stabilize the grinding chamber. This helps keep the burrs at a more consistent temperature, improving shot-to-shot consistency during sustained, high-volume use.

How does free installation work?

We want to make your purchase as smooth as possible and will pay the installation via rebate on commercial espresso machines. This includes commercial machines with more than 1 group head and 220V.

If the certified installer needed is over 1.5 hours away then we will pay for the installation call (and install up to the value suggested on page minus call fee). Travel will be paid by customer. Inquire if you have any questions about your location.

Please note, any discounts subject to void the paid installation offer.

At Coffeeionado, professional installation is included with qualifying espresso machine purchases. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible — from coordinating the technician to getting your machine up and running on day one.

Which Machines Qualify

Free professional installation is included with all espresso machines of 2 groups or more where indicated on the product listing. This policy applies to espresso machines only and does not cover other coffee equipment such as grinders, brewers, or accessories.

If you are unsure whether your machine qualifies, contact us before purchasing and we'll confirm.

What's Included

  • Travel and labor costs for installation within the technician's service area (up to 2 hours of travel)
  • Setup, basic programming, and commissioning of the equipment
  • Scheduling during regular business hours, Monday through Friday
  • Associated taxes and fees related to the installation itself

Installation must be completed within 90 days of delivery of the equipment. The installation benefit lapses after this window and cannot be reinstated.

How Installation Is Arranged

Depending on your purchase, installation is handled one of two ways:

Arranged directly — In many cases, Coffeeionado or the manufacturer will coordinate and pay the technician on your behalf. We will contact you after your order is processed to schedule the visit.

Reimbursement — In some cases, you may be asked to arrange the installation locally using an authorized technician and submit a rebate form for reimbursement. Once approved, the covered amount will be refunded to the original payment method used for your order.

We will confirm which arrangement applies to your purchase at the time of order confirmation. If you have questions before purchasing, contact us and we'll walk you through it.

What's Not Included

The following are outside the scope of the installation policy and remain the customer's responsibility:

  • Travel or callout costs beyond the first 2 hours of the technician's travel time — if your location falls outside the local service area, the overage is the customer's responsibility
  • Water filtration systems and installation materials — including plumbing fittings, tubing, plugs, outlets, and any other ancillary components required to prepare the site
  • Electrical or plumbing work — site preparation must be completed before the technician arrives
  • Training on equipment operation — installation covers commissioning only, not barista or operational training
  • False start or callout fees if the technician arrives and the site is not ready for installation

Important: If a technician arrives and cannot complete the installation because the site is unprepared, you will be responsible for any callout or false start fee charged by the technician. However, your installation benefit remains intact — the visit will be rescheduled at no additional cost to your policy.

Water Filtration Requirement

Water filtration must be installed and operational before or at the time of installation. This is not optional — operating a commercial espresso machine without proper filtration will void the manufacturer's warranty. If filtration is not in place at the time of the technician's visit, installation may need to be rescheduled and the callout fee will be the customer's responsibility.

If you need guidance on water filtration requirements for your machine, contact us before scheduling your installation.

Service Area

Installation coverage is tied to the manufacturer's authorized technician service area, generally within a 1.5-hour radius of the nearest certified technician. If the customer's location falls outside this area, Coffeeionado will make reasonable efforts to arrange a local authorized technician, but travel costs beyond the 2-hour coverage limit remain the customer's responsibility.

Not sure if you're in a service area? Contact us before purchasing and we'll check your location.

What to Expect on Install Day

Getting a commercial espresso machine delivered is one thing. Getting it actually running — plumbed, programmed, and pulling properly — is another. Here's what happens when the technician comes out.

Before the appointment: Site preparation will be confirmed before technicians make it out. Once your machine ships, we'll coordinate scheduling with you and assign a local certified technician. Before they arrive, make sure your space is ready: the machine's permanent location should be determined, your water line and drain access should be in place, and your electrical supply should match the machine's requirements.

On the day The technician will handle the physical installation of the machine — positioning, water line connection, and drain setup. Once it's plumbed and powered, they'll run through the setup and basic programming: boiler pressure, shot parameters, and confirming that water flows correctly through the group heads and steam wands. Some basic training will be provided, they'll pull test shots to verify the machine is operating within spec.

After Installation

Once your machine is installed, we'll provide referrals for authorized service technicians in your area for ongoing maintenance and repairs. Coffeeionado offers lifetime support on all equipment we sell — we're here long after the install is done.

Governing Terms

This installation policy forms part of your agreement with Coffeeionado and is subject to our Terms of Sale and Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service governs.

Can I pick up the machine at your store?

We do not have a showroom or storefront for customer pickups, so orders cannot be picked up directly from us. That said, there is an exception for La Spaziale and La Pavoni products, you can contact us to arrange.

However, if you'd prefer, we can arrange to have your machine shipped to a local freight terminal/location for pickup instead. Let us know your city/state (or ZIP code), and we’d be happy to check the nearest terminal options for you.
