Powering Hundreds of Businesses Including:

You have likely spent enough time temperature-surfing and compensating for plastic components to know exactly where your current setup falls short. The Anita Evo is built for the barista who is ready to trade a digital interface for the tactile, predictable feedback of a mechanical workflow. Utilizing a heavy E61 commercial group ensures the thermal mass is doing the work for you, so your focus can return to the bean profile rather than the recovery time. It is the transition from fighting your equipment to finally having a machine that stays out of your way.

Product Features

1.6 L Copper Boiler

A large 1.6 L copper boiler (brass-coated) gives strong heat retention and quick recovery so you can pull multiple shots and steam milk without long waits. That extra capacity helps when you’re entertaining or pulling back-to-back drinks.

E61 Commercial Group

The legendary E61 group head with thermo siphon circulation preheats and circulates water to the group, keeping brew temperature stable shot after shot. For the home barista this means more consistent extractions during morning routines and when dialing in new beans.

3 L BPA-Free Reservoir

The Anita Evo’s 3 L bottom-fed water tank sits under a hinged top lid for easy refills without removing the cup warmer. More water between fills means fewer interruptions to your brew ritual at home.

Ulka 52-Watt Vibratory Pump + Magnetic Level Control

An Ulka 52-watt vibratory pump supplies steady pressure for reliable extractions while thermal overload protection adds safety. A precise magnetic sensor switch controls the water tank level and only cuts power to the heating circuit—not the pump—so the pump won’t stop mid-shot.

Non-Compression Valves & No-Burn Wands

The machine uses Non-Compression Steam & Hot Water Valves for smooth, durable control of steam and water flow, paired with No-Burn Steam & Hot Water Wands that stay cool to the touch. Together they make steaming and dispensing safer and easier for everyday use.

Serviceable Layout & Gauges

Quick access panels, an easy-access expansion valve, and an access port for adjusting the pressure stat mean routine tweaks and maintenance are straightforward. Boiler and group pressure gauges give immediate feedback so you can monitor performance while dialing in shots.

The Coffeeionado Take

Who's It For:

  • Home baristas who value tactile, mechanical workflows — The E61 group and manual lever operation deliver a hands-on extraction process without digital complexity
  • Enthusiasts upgrading from entry-level machines — PID temperature control and the heavy E61 group provide the thermal stability that entry-level machines lack
  • Daily home users pulling 2–6 drinks — The HX boiler handles simultaneous brew and steam for morning milk drinks

It's Right For You If:

  • You want PID control and a mechanical, lever-operated E61 without programmable dosing or digital displays.
  • Your daily drink count is 2–6 and you want simultaneous brew and steam on a standard 110-120V circuit.
  • You are pairing this with a quality grinder and value the tactile feedback of a manual lever workflow.

Things to Consider:

  • The 30-minute warm-up is standard for E61 HX machines — plan on a smart plug or consistent schedule.
  • Handles 3–4 drinks in rapid succession before requiring thermal recovery — this is a home machine, not built for high-volume service.
  • No shot timer or programmable features — extraction timing is managed entirely by you.

Our Take:

The Quick Mill Anita Evo is the E61 HX for baristas who want a machine that stays out of their way — PID control, a heavy commercial group, and a manual lever workflow that rewards your technique without digital distractions. If you value the tactile process of pulling a shot and want a machine that will last years of daily use, this is a solid, proven choice.

Anita Evo Espresso Machine by Quick Mill

The Quick Mill Anita Evo espresso machine is a well-designed single boiler semi-automatic maker that produces great espresso at an even better price point.

Compact and Powerful

The Anita is a compact home espresso machine which allows you to simultaneously steam and brew espresso. It comes with a commercial grade E61 group head to aid in temperature control. Featuring a large 1.6-liter copper heat exchange boiler which will give you plenty of steaming power for multiple lattes. You will also find steam and hot water wands on the front, along with a dual gauges for seeing the pump pressure and boiler pressure.

This home semi-automatic espresso machine features a commercial-grade E61 group head, with an upgraded frame, larger steam boiler, and both 15 and 20 amp modes to allow simultaneous boiler heating. It's no wonder it has been rated as the best espresso machine in its class. It's similar to the Rocket Apartamento and almost priced the same.

Smart Design

Quick Mill strategically placed the pump vertically with the motor on top to prevent any motor issues. Its separate steam wand and hot water dispenser are insulated to prevent burns. Need access to the machine? The hinged cover allows for easy access to the parts inside.

Upgrade with a Flow Control Device

The flow control device can be installed in machines that are equipped with standard E61 brew group heads. With just a couple of tools, your coffee machine will be able to vary the amount of flow using the stainless steel needle valve now installed on your E61 group. This needle valve is the main working component that allows the user to vary the flow of water to your coffee where you’ll have full control of saturation and extraction.

Great Pair

Pair it with the new Quick Mill Sorio espresso grinder and you will have a winning pair that are stylish compliments to your brew bar. The Anita comes with ease of use and the ability to brew and steam at the same time. You will be pulling great espresso shots in no time.

Comes with free bonus package with purchase (see below). Elevate your coffee experience and start brewing your favorites and buy the Quick Mill Anita today.

Water Quality & Machine Protection

Proper water quality is essential for optimal espresso extraction and long-term machine health. Use the guidelines below to ensure your machine performs at its best.

Parameter Ideal Range Why It Matters
Total Hardness 50-170 ppm Prevents scale buildup while maintaining flavor
pH Level 6.5-7.5 Ensures balanced extraction and protects internal components
Chlorine 0 ppm Eliminates off-flavors and prevents corrosion
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) 70-150 ppm Optimal mineral content for extraction and taste
Total Alkalinity ~7.0 Stabilizes acidity and extraction
Chloride 0-28 ppm Prevents corrosion (especially in steel boilers)

Important Note

Always refer to your machine's manual for specific water quality recommendations and maintenance schedules.

Advisory

Install a water filtration system to maintain consistent water quality and extend the life of your espresso machine.

What This Means

  • Water that’s too hard → scale buildup, reduced performance
  • Water that’s too soft → flat, dull espresso
  • Improper water can damage internal components over time

Machine-Specific Considerations

  • These guidelines are safe for most home espresso machines
  • Some machines (especially with stainless steel boilers) require stricter limits on chlorides

Product FAQ

Does the Quick Mill Anita Evo have a rotary pump or a vibratory pump?

The Quick Mill Anita Evo is equipped with a vibratory pump, not a rotary pump. It is a traditional reservoir‑fed machine and does not require plumbing to the water line.

Can the Quick Mill Anita Evo be direct plumbed to a water line?

No. The Anita Evo is a tank‑only machine and does not offer a direct‑plumb or drain connection option. It uses an internal water reservoir that you fill manually.

Does the Anita Evo offer pre‑infusion, and is it programmable?

Yes. As an E61 grouphead heat‑exchange machine, the Anita Evo provides mechanical pre‑infusion through the E61 design. The pre‑infusion is not electronically programmable; it is the standard passive pre‑infusion built into the group.

Is the steam wand on the Quick Mill Anita Evo cool‑touch or no‑burn?

The Anita Evo includes an insulated no‑burn steam wand, which stays significantly cooler than traditional wands and helps reduce the risk of burns while also making dried milk easier to wipe off.

What type and size of boiler does the Quick Mill Anita Evo use?

The Anita Evo is a heat‑exchange (HX) machine with a single copper boiler of approximately 1.6–1.8 liters in capacity (varies slightly by production run). This allows you to brew espresso and steam milk at the same time.

Does the Anita Evo have PID temperature control?

No. The classic Anita Evo uses a pressurestat and boiler pressure gauge to regulate boiler temperature rather than a PID controller. Temperature is adjusted indirectly by changing boiler pressure.

What is the warm‑up time before the Anita Evo is ready to brew?

Plan on about 25–30 minutes of warm‑up time for the boiler and E61 grouphead to reach stable operating temperature, which is typical for E61 heat‑exchange machines.

What kind of power and outlet does the Anita Evo require?

The Anita Evo runs on standard US household power: 110–120V, 60 Hz, drawing up to about 15 amps. It plugs into a standard grounded 3‑prong kitchen outlet and does not require a special circuit beyond a typical 15‑amp line.

How does free installation work?

We want to make your purchase as smooth as possible and will pay the installation via rebate on commercial espresso machines. This includes commercial machines with more than 1 group head and 220V.

If the certified installer needed is over 1.5 hours away then we will pay for the installation call (and install up to the value suggested on page minus call fee). Travel will be paid by customer. Inquire if you have any questions about your location.

Please note, any discounts subject to void the paid installation offer.

At Coffeeionado, professional installation is included with qualifying espresso machine purchases. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible — from coordinating the technician to getting your machine up and running on day one.

Which Machines Qualify

Free professional installation is included with all espresso machines of 2 groups or more where indicated on the product listing. This policy applies to espresso machines only and does not cover other coffee equipment such as grinders, brewers, or accessories.

If you are unsure whether your machine qualifies, contact us before purchasing and we'll confirm.

What's Included

  • Travel and labor costs for installation within the technician's service area (up to 2 hours of travel)
  • Setup, basic programming, and commissioning of the equipment
  • Scheduling during regular business hours, Monday through Friday
  • Associated taxes and fees related to the installation itself

Installation must be completed within 30 days of delivery of the equipment. The installation benefit lapses after this window and cannot be reinstated.

How Installation Is Arranged

Depending on your purchase, installation is handled one of two ways:

Arranged directly — In many cases, Coffeeionado or the manufacturer will coordinate and pay the technician on your behalf. We will contact you after your order is processed to schedule the visit.

Reimbursement — In some cases, you may be asked to arrange the installation locally using an authorized technician and submit a rebate form for reimbursement. Once approved, the covered amount will be refunded to the original payment method used for your order.

We will confirm which arrangement applies to your purchase at the time of order confirmation. If you have questions before purchasing, contact us and we'll walk you through it.

What's Not Included

The following are outside the scope of the installation policy and remain the customer's responsibility:

  • Travel or callout costs beyond the first 2 hours of the technician's travel time — if your location falls outside the local service area, the overage is your responsibility
  • Water filtration systems and installation materials — including plumbing fittings, tubing, plugs, outlets, and any other ancillary components required to prepare the site
  • Electrical or plumbing work — site preparation must be completed before the technician arrives
  • Training on equipment operation — installation covers commissioning only, not barista or operational training
  • False start or callout fees if the technician arrives and the site is not ready for installation

Important: If a technician arrives and cannot complete the installation because the site is unprepared, you will be responsible for any callout or false start fee charged by the technician. However, your installation benefit remains intact — the visit will be rescheduled at no additional cost to your policy.

Water Filtration Requirement

Water filtration must be installed and operational before or at the time of installation. This is not optional — operating a commercial espresso machine without proper filtration will void the manufacturer's warranty. If filtration is not in place at the time of the technician's visit, installation may need to be rescheduled and the callout fee will be your responsibility.

If you need guidance on water filtration requirements for your machine, contact us before scheduling your installation.

Service Area

Installation coverage is tied to the manufacturer's authorized technician service area, generally within a 1.5-hour radius of the nearest certified technician. If your location falls outside this area, Coffeeionado will make reasonable efforts to arrange a local authorized technician, but travel costs beyond the 2-hour coverage limit remain your responsibility.

Not sure if you're in a service area? Contact us before purchasing and we'll check your location.

After Installation

Once your machine is installed, we'll provide referrals for authorized service technicians in your area for ongoing maintenance and repairs. Coffeeionado offers lifetime support on all equipment we sell — we're here long after the install is done.

Governing Terms

This installation policy forms part of your agreement with Coffeeionado and is subject to our Terms of Sale and Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service governs.

Can I pick up the machine at your store?

We do not have a showroom or storefront for customer pickups, so orders cannot be picked up directly from us. That said, there is an exception for La Spaziale and La Pavoni products, you can contact us to arrange.

However, if you'd prefer, we can arrange to have your machine shipped to a local freight terminal/location for pickup instead. Let us know your city/state (or ZIP code), and we’d be happy to check the nearest terminal options for you.
