Anita Evo Espresso Machine by Quick Mill
The Quick Mill Anita Evo espresso machine is a well-designed single boiler semi-automatic maker that produces great espresso at an even better price point.
Compact and Powerful
The Anita is a compact home espresso machine which allows you to simultaneously steam and brew espresso. It comes with a commercial grade E61 group head to aid in temperature control. Featuring a large 1.6-liter copper heat exchange boiler which will give you plenty of steaming power for multiple lattes. You will also find steam and hot water wands on the front, along with a dual gauges for seeing the pump pressure and boiler pressure.
This home semi-automatic espresso machine features a commercial-grade E61 group head, with an upgraded frame, larger steam boiler, and both 15 and 20 amp modes to allow simultaneous boiler heating. It's no wonder it has been rated as the best espresso machine in its class. It's similar to the Rocket Apartamento and almost priced the same.
Smart Design
Quick Mill strategically placed the pump vertically with the motor on top to prevent any motor issues. Its separate steam wand and hot water dispenser are insulated to prevent burns. Need access to the machine? The hinged cover allows for easy access to the parts inside.
Upgrade with a Flow Control Device
The flow control device can be installed in machines that are equipped with standard E61 brew group heads. With just a couple of tools, your coffee machine will be able to vary the amount of flow using the stainless steel needle valve now installed on your E61 group. This needle valve is the main working component that allows the user to vary the flow of water to your coffee where you’ll have full control of saturation and extraction.
Great Pair
Pair it with the new Quick Mill Sorio espresso grinder and you will have a winning pair that are stylish compliments to your brew bar. The Anita comes with ease of use and the ability to brew and steam at the same time. You will be pulling great espresso shots in no time.
Comes with free bonus package with purchase (see below). Elevate your coffee experience and start brewing your favorites and buy the Quick Mill Anita today.

Water Quality & Machine Protection
Proper water quality is essential for optimal espresso extraction and long-term machine health. Use the guidelines below to ensure your machine performs at its best.
| Parameter | Ideal Range | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Total Hardness | 50-170 ppm | Prevents scale buildup while maintaining flavor |
| pH Level | 6.5-7.5 | Ensures balanced extraction and protects internal components |
| Chlorine | 0 ppm | Eliminates off-flavors and prevents corrosion |
| TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) | 70-150 ppm | Optimal mineral content for extraction and taste |
| Total Alkalinity | ~7.0 | Stabilizes acidity and extraction |
| Chloride | 0-28 ppm | Prevents corrosion (especially in steel boilers) |
Important Note
Always refer to your machine's manual for specific water quality recommendations and maintenance schedules.
Advisory
Install a water filtration system to maintain consistent water quality and extend the life of your espresso machine.
What This Means
- Water that’s too hard → scale buildup, reduced performance
- Water that’s too soft → flat, dull espresso
- Improper water can damage internal components over time
Machine-Specific Considerations
- These guidelines are safe for most home espresso machines
- Some machines (especially with stainless steel boilers) require stricter limits on chlorides
What We'd Tell You In Store
How to Choose a Home Espresso Machine
The machine that's right for someone who wants great espresso with minimal daily effort is not the same machine that's right for someone who wants to learn pressure profiling. Before you look at specs or prices, two questions do most of the work: how involved do you want to be, and what's your realistic total budget — including the grinder.
Lever and Paddle Espresso Machines: How Much Control Do You Want?
A standard espresso machine makes one decision for you: how the shot is extracted. Paddle machines, spring levers, and direct lever machines give that decision back — in increasing degrees, and with increasing demands on the person holding the lever. This guide covers the full spectrum.
How to Pick Out a Home Grinder
The grinder is the part of your espresso setup that most people buy last and most people wish they'd bought better first. Every shot you pull — its extraction speed, its flavor, its consistency from one morning to the next — is determined first at the grinder. A great machine cannot fix a poor grind.
Setting Up Your Home Espresso Machine Right
The decisions made in the first few days — where the machine lives, what water goes through it, how the workflow is arranged around it — determine a lot about whether espresso becomes a daily ritual you look forward to or a recurring source of frustration.
