Powering Hundreds of Businesses Including:

You’ve likely reached the limit of what can be achieved with a machine that rattles the cups on your warming tray every time you engage the pump. Transitioning to a Fluid-O-Tech rotary vane pump means trading that vibration for the quiet, steady pressure required to see what your grinder is actually capable of. This setup is for the person who has stopped looking for shortcuts and started prioritizing the thermal stability that comes from commercial-grade internals. It is time to stop compensating for your hardware and start refining your technique.

Product Features

The Coffeeionado Take

Who's It For:

  • Home users upgrading from entry-level espresso — The hybrid boiler design and PID control offer a meaningful step up in thermal stability without the complexity of a full dual-boiler system
  • Enthusiasts dialing in light roasts — PID temperature control and a stable group head give you the repeatability that light-roast extraction demands
  • Hobbyists who want manual control — No programmable features means you are in full command of every variable, which is exactly what some people are looking for

It's Right For You If:

  • You pull 1-2 drinks back-to-back and want consistent temperature without managing a heat exchanger.
  • You prefer a manual workflow where every shot is a deliberate act, not a programmed one.
  • Counter space is at a premium — the compact footprint fits where larger dual-boilers will not.

Things to Consider:

  • With no programmable shots, you are running the entire extraction manually — great for control, but it means every shot requires your full attention.
  • The 5-15 minute heat-up window is wide; actual time depends on ambient temperature and whether the machine has been sitting idle.
  • This machine is designed for 1-2 drinks at a time — if you regularly serve groups, the recovery will not keep up.

Our Take:

The Silvano Evo is a no-nonsense machine for someone who wants to learn espresso properly — no programmed doses, no auto-steam, just you and the shot. It is compact, well-built, and the hybrid boiler keeps things thermally honest without the bulk of a full dual-boiler.

Manometer

The pressure gauge on espresso machines is vital for producing top-notch espresso. It shows the pressure used to extract the coffee, ensuring that water passes through the grounds in the portafilter at the right force. Keeping this pressure steady is key to making excellent espresso shots every time.

Form and Function

Beyond its exceptional performance, the Silvano Evo captivates with its timeless design. Its sleek stainless steel exterior exudes elegance and durability, seamlessly blending into any kitchen décor. Its compact footprint makes it a welcome addition to even the most space-conscious coffee corners.

PID for Right Temperature

A PID controller in an espresso machine ensures precise temperature control, which is essential for consistently great espresso. Without it, water temperature can fluctuate, leading to inconsistent flavors. A PID constantly monitors and adjusts the heat, keeping it stable throughout the brewing process. This results in more reliable espresso shots, better flavor extraction, and improved control.

Many PID espresso machines allow you to set a specific temperature, giving you the ability to fine-tune your coffee to preference.

0.4L Copper Brew Boiler

Copper boilers in espresso machines offer exceptional heat conductivity, ensuring rapid heating and faster recovery times for a quicker startup. Maintaining optimal brewing temperatures is essential for consistently good espresso, and copper's ability to uphold steady temperatures contributes to a consistent brew quality. Additionally, copper's natural antimicrobial properties make it a hygienic choice for espresso machines by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms.

Unleash Your Inner Barista

With the Silvano Evo's commercial-grade portafilter, you unlock the gateway to barista-style mastery. Water Quality & Machine Protection

Proper water quality is essential for optimal espresso extraction and long-term machine health. Use the guidelines below to ensure your machine performs at its best.

Parameter Ideal Range Why It Matters
Total Hardness 50-170 ppm Prevents scale buildup while maintaining flavor
pH Level 6.5-7.5 Ensures balanced extraction and protects internal components
Chlorine 0 ppm Eliminates off-flavors and prevents corrosion
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) 70-150 ppm Optimal mineral content for extraction and taste
Total Alkalinity ~7.0 Stabilizes acidity and extraction
Chloride 0-28 ppm Prevents corrosion (especially in steel boilers)

Important Note

Always refer to your machine's manual for specific water quality recommendations and maintenance schedules.

Advisory

Install a water filtration system to maintain consistent water quality and extend the life of your espresso machine.

What This Means

  • Water that’s too hard → scale buildup, reduced performance
  • Water that’s too soft → flat, dull espresso
  • Improper water can damage internal components over time

Machine-Specific Considerations

  • These guidelines are safe for most home espresso machines
  • Some machines (especially with stainless steel boilers) require stricter limits on chlorides

Product FAQ

Does the Quick Mill Silvano Evo have a single boiler or a heat‑exchanger/dual‑boiler system?

The Quick Mill Silvano Evo uses a hybrid setup: a dedicated stainless steel boiler for brewing and a separate thermoblock for steaming. This lets you pull shots and steam milk at the same time, similar to a dual‑boiler machine, but with faster heat‑up and lower energy use.

Is the Silvano Evo equipped with a vibratory pump or a rotary pump?

The Silvano Evo uses a vibratory pump, not a rotary pump. Vibratory pumps are common at this price point and are reliable and relatively quiet, but not as silent as rotary pumps.

Does the Quick Mill Silvano Evo have pre‑infusion, and can it be adjusted?

Yes. The Silvano Evo offers programmable pre‑infusion through its PID controller. You can set the pre‑infusion time so water gently saturates the coffee puck before full pressure, helping improve shot consistency and extraction.

Can the Silvano Evo be direct plumbed, or is it tank‑only?

The Silvano Evo is a reservoir (tank‑fed) machine only and does not support direct plumbing into your water line. It includes a removable water tank that you refill manually.

Does the Silvano Evo have a no‑burn or cool‑touch steam wand?

Yes. The Quick Mill Silvano Evo comes with a cool‑touch (no‑burn) steam wand. The outer surface stays significantly cooler than traditional wands, making it safer to handle and easier to clean.

Does the machine include a built‑in grinder or do I need a separate grinder?

The Silvano Evo does not have a built‑in grinder. You will need a separate, quality espresso grinder to get the best results, as grind consistency is critical for espresso extraction.

What kind of temperature control does the Quick Mill Silvano Evo use, and is it user‑adjustable?

The Silvano Evo is equipped with a PID temperature controller for the brew boiler. The PID lets you precisely set and adjust brew temperature in small increments, giving you better control over flavor and consistency, especially when dialing in different coffees.

How long does the Silvano Evo take to heat up and be ready to brew and steam?

From a cold start, the brew boiler typically reaches brewing temperature in about 10–15 minutes. The thermoblock for steam heats very quickly—usually within a few minutes—so you can steam shortly after the brew circuit is ready. For full thermal stability, many users allow 20–25 minutes of warm‑up time.

Please note, any discounts subject to void the paid installation offer.

At Coffeeionado, professional installation is included with qualifying espresso machine purchases. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible — from coordinating the technician to getting your machine up and running on day one.

Which Machines Qualify

Free professional installation is included with all espresso machines of 2 groups or more where indicated on the product listing. This policy applies to espresso machines only and does not cover other coffee equipment such as grinders, brewers, or accessories.

If you are unsure whether your machine qualifies, contact us before purchasing and we'll confirm.

What's Included

  • Travel and labor costs for installation within the technician's service area (up to 2 hours of travel)
  • Setup, basic programming, and commissioning of the equipment
  • Scheduling during regular business hours, Monday through Friday
  • Associated taxes and fees related to the installation itself

Installation must be completed within 30 days of delivery of the equipment. The installation benefit lapses after this window and cannot be reinstated.

How Installation Is Arranged

Depending on your purchase, installation is handled one of two ways:

Arranged directly — In many cases, Coffeeionado or the manufacturer will coordinate and pay the technician on your behalf. We will contact you after your order is processed to schedule the visit.

Reimbursement — In some cases, you may be asked to arrange the installation locally using an authorized technician and submit a rebate form for reimbursement. Once approved, the covered amount will be refunded to the original payment method used for your order.

We will confirm which arrangement applies to your purchase at the time of order confirmation. If you have questions before purchasing, contact us and we'll walk you through it.

What's Not Included

The following are outside the scope of the installation policy and remain the customer's responsibility:

  • Travel or callout costs beyond the first 2 hours of the technician's travel time — if your location falls outside the local service area, the overage is your responsibility
  • Water filtration systems and installation materials — including plumbing fittings, tubing, plugs, outlets, and any other ancillary components required to prepare the site
  • Electrical or plumbing work — site preparation must be completed before the technician arrives
  • Training on equipment operation — installation covers commissioning only, not barista or operational training
  • False start or callout fees if the technician arrives and the site is not ready for installation

Important: If a technician arrives and cannot complete the installation because the site is unprepared, you will be responsible for any callout or false start fee charged by the technician. However, your installation benefit remains intact — the visit will be rescheduled at no additional cost to your policy.

Water Filtration Requirement

Water filtration must be installed and operational before or at the time of installation. This is not optional — operating a commercial espresso machine without proper filtration will void the manufacturer's warranty. If filtration is not in place at the time of the technician's visit, installation may need to be rescheduled and the callout fee will be your responsibility.

If you need guidance on water filtration requirements for your machine, contact us before scheduling your installation.

Service Area

Installation coverage is tied to the manufacturer's authorized technician service area, generally within a 1.5-hour radius of the nearest certified technician. If your location falls outside this area, Coffeeionado will make reasonable efforts to arrange a local authorized technician, but travel costs beyond the 2-hour coverage limit remain your responsibility.

Not sure if you're in a service area? Contact us before purchasing and we'll check your location.

After Installation

Once your machine is installed, we'll provide referrals for authorized service technicians in your area for ongoing maintenance and repairs. Coffeeionado offers lifetime support on all equipment we sell — we're here long after the install is done.

Governing Terms

This installation policy forms part of your agreement with Coffeeionado and is subject to our Terms of Sale and Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service governs.

Can I pick up the machine at your store?

We do not have a showroom or storefront for customer pickups, so orders cannot be picked up directly from us. That said, there is an exception for La Spaziale and La Pavoni products, you can contact us to arrange.

However, if you'd prefer, we can arrange to have your machine shipped to a local freight terminal/location for pickup instead. Let us know your city/state (or ZIP code), and we’d be happy to check the nearest terminal options for you.
