Powering Hundreds of Businesses Including:

You have reached the stage where your equipment needs to catch up to your technique. The Vetrano 2B Evo is built for the user who treats their espresso ritual as a production, relying on dual stainless boilers to provide the thermal stability required for back-to-back shots. It is designed with the understanding that you value the longevity of a quiet rotary pump and the ability to service your own machine over a flashy exterior that hides the internals. This is the point where you stop fighting your hardware and start focusing on the extraction.

Product Features

PID Controller & Shot Timer

PID display with shot timer maintains water temperature by pulsing energy rather than cycling on/off, keeping brew temperature in a tight range; the brushed-aluminum PID faceplate and LED screen make monitoring and dialing in shots straightforward.

Dual Stainless Boilers

Independent stainless steel brew and steam boilers (.75 L brew / 1.4 L steam) let you steam milk while pulling shots with no cooling flushes required—giving steady temperatures and consistent extraction for repeated service.

E61 Commercial Group

The 8 lb chrome-plated brass E61 group head provides thermal mass as water moves from boiler to cup, reducing heat loss and helping you reproduce the same extraction shot after shot.

Electrical Flexibility

Selectable 15 Amp or 20 Amp configuration lets you adapt to existing wiring or a dedicated circuit; Chris’ Coffee will bench-set the machine to your choice and includes a free converter cord when 15 Amps is selected.

Rotary Pump & Service Access

A vertically mounted rotary pump is positioned to prevent motor issues, and the pump is easy to access via a tab on the right panel—so routine service and maintenance are quicker and less disruptive.

Plumb-or-Reservoir Convenience

Choose between the bottom-fed BPA-free 3 L reservoir (with low-water sensor) or direct plumb-and-drain installation for flexibility in counter layout and higher-volume workflows.

The Coffeeionado Take

Who's It For:

  • Home users upgrading from a single-boiler or HX machine — Dual stainless boilers and a rotary pump give you the thermal stability and quiet operation that heat exchangers promise but rarely deliver
  • Enthusiasts who value serviceability — Quick Mill machines are designed with the owner in mind, using accessible components you can maintain yourself
  • Daily home espresso drinkers pulling 4–15 drinks — The 1.5L steam boiler and 0.75L brew boiler handle a busy morning routine without temperature drift

It's Right For You If:

  • You are pulling 4–15 shots daily and want a machine that treats every shot as consistently as the first.
  • You want the flexibility of both reservoir and direct plumbing — this machine supports either setup.
  • You have 20–30 minutes of warm-up time built into your morning routine (or you will use a smart plug).

Things to Consider:

  • E61 groups need 20–30 minutes to fully stabilize — budget for a smart plug timer if morning speed matters.
  • No pressure profiling or flow control — if you want to actively shape extraction curves, you will need to look at a machine with those features or add an aftermarket kit.
  • The vibration pump version (if applicable) means no plumb-in — confirm pump type before purchasing if plumbing is a priority.

Our Take:

The Vetrano is a dual boiler machine — it gives you the E61 group, independent stainless boilers, and a rotary pump at a price that competes with machines that cut corners on build quality. If you are the kind of person who values a machine you can service yourself and that will run for decades, this is one of the most proven platforms in the category.

Vetrano 2B Evo by Quick Mill

The Quick Mill Vetrano 2B is an aesthetically pleasing semi-automatic espresso machine that continually produces great espresso. This Italian espresso machine comes with a powerful rotary pump (much more quietly than vibratory pump machines) and dual boiler design; which, allows you to simultaneously steam and pull shots.

This is why we're thrilled to announce that we now cover all shipping, freight, and handling charges for our premium coffee equipment within the continental USA. Gone are the days of considering additional fees as you add items to your cart.

Dual Boiler Espresso Machine

A dual boiler espresso machine is engineered with two distinct boilers: one for brewing espresso at the perfect temperature and another for generating steam to froth milk. Unlike single boiler machines that share one boiler for both tasks, dual boilers enable simultaneous brewing and steaming, ensuring consistent temperature and pressure for superior quality espresso beverages.

Stainless Steel Boilers

Stainless steel boilers in espresso machines offer exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. They are designed to withstand daily use without losing efficiency, even in high humidity or water-exposed environments. Despite having lower thermal conductivity than copper, stainless steel boilers require less material for construction. Additionally, they are compatible with descaling chemicals, making maintenance hassle-free for optimal performance.

Rotary Pump for Quieter Operations

Rotary pump espresso machines offer many advantages, especially for home usage. Its low noise level is a key benefit, ensuring a quieter espresso experience. Rotary pumps have a longer lifespan of approximately 15 years, making them a reliable option for long-term use and reducing the need for frequent replacements. Additionally, they provide more consistent pressure and achieve quick pressure buildup compared to vibratory pump.

Quick Mill strategically placed the pump vertically with the motor on top to prevent any motor issues.

PID Temperature Control

PID, an abbreviation for Proportional-Integral-Derivative, is a feedback loop controller utilized in espresso machines to regulate and maintain the water temperature within the boiler. It means you can regulate the temperature on the machine.

With PID controller espresso machines, you ensure that the water temperature remains constant and ideal for producing high-quality espresso.

No-Burn Steam Wands

With these revolutionary features, you can froth and steam milk without any concerns about getting burned. The cool touch technology ensures that the wand remains at a safe temperature, allowing you to focus on creating the perfect espresso drinks without any worries. Say goodbye to accidental burns and hello to a more enjoyable coffee-making process with our state-of-the-art espresso machine.

E61 Group Head

The E61 group head is renowned for its exceptional temperature stability, and this is further enhanced by the 9 pounds of quality brass used in its construction. This substantial amount of brass ensures that heat is evenly distributed throughout the group head, resulting in precise and consistent brewing temperatures.

Dual Manometers

You'll find dual manometers on espresso machines for monitoring brew and steam pressure. The brew pressure gauge checks the resistance from the coffee grounds in the filter basket when the pump is running to ensure optimal extraction. Meanwhile, the steam pressure gauge on heat exchange or dual boiler machines shows the boiler's steam pressure for safety, usually rated at 2.0 bar for structural integrity.

15 Amp or 20 Amp Operations

Choose between running the Vetrano 2B on either 15 or 20 amps. Upon selection, we will configure your machine accordingly during bench testing and provide a complimentary converter cord if you opt for 15 amps. If you're uncertain about which option to pick, feel free to reach out via our live chat feature located in the bottom left corner of the screen for further assistance!

Energy Saving Eco Mode

The latest model of PID Quick Mill now features innovative energy-saving modes in its programming. These modes can be activated or deactivated simply by raising the brew lever when the machine is not in use. The machine offers two distinct eco settings: one that shuts off the steam boiler after 60 minutes of inactivity, and another that turns off both boilers after 120 minutes of non-use.

Water Quality & Machine Protection

Proper water quality is essential for optimal espresso extraction and long-term machine health. Use the guidelines below to ensure your machine performs at its best.

Parameter Ideal Range Why It Matters
Total Hardness 50-170 ppm Prevents scale buildup while maintaining flavor
pH Level 6.5-7.5 Ensures balanced extraction and protects internal components
Chlorine 0 ppm Eliminates off-flavors and prevents corrosion
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) 70-150 ppm Optimal mineral content for extraction and taste
Total Alkalinity ~7.0 Stabilizes acidity and extraction
Chloride 0-28 ppm Prevents corrosion (especially in steel boilers)

Important Note

Always refer to your machine's manual for specific water quality recommendations and maintenance schedules.

Advisory

Install a water filtration system to maintain consistent water quality and extend the life of your espresso machine.

What This Means

  • Water that’s too hard → scale buildup, reduced performance
  • Water that’s too soft → flat, dull espresso
  • Improper water can damage internal components over time

Machine-Specific Considerations

  • These guidelines are safe for most home espresso machines
  • Some machines (especially with stainless steel boilers) require stricter limits on chlorides

Product FAQ

Does the Quick Mill Vetrano 2B Evo have a rotary pump, and how quiet is it compared to vibratory pump machines?

Yes. The Vetrano 2B Evo uses a commercial-style rotary pump, which is significantly quieter than typical vibratory pumps. This makes it well‑suited for home use where noise is a concern, especially in open kitchens or early mornings.

Can the Vetrano 2B Evo be both plumbed in and used with a water tank?

Yes. The machine is dual‑mode: you can run it from the built‑in water reservoir or connect it directly to your home water line. There is an internal switch or setting to change between tank mode and direct-plumb mode. A drain line can typically also be connected when using it plumbed in.

Does the Vetrano 2B Evo have pre‑infusion, and is it adjustable?

The Vetrano 2B Evo provides pre‑infusion through the E61 group’s mechanical pre‑infusion and the machine’s pump control. On most units, pre‑infusion is not fully programmable by time in the way that some high‑end machines are, but you can achieve a gentle ramp‑up of pressure and short pre‑infusion via the E61 lever operation and brew pressure settings.

Is the espresso machine a dual‑boiler system, and can I adjust the brew and steam temperatures independently?

Yes. The Vetrano 2B Evo is a true dual‑boiler espresso machine. It has a dedicated brew boiler and a separate steam boiler. Using the PID controller, you can independently adjust brew temperature (for espresso) and steam boiler temperature (which affects steam power) to dial in different coffees and steaming performance.

Does the Vetrano 2B Evo include cool‑touch or no‑burn steam and hot‑water wands?

Yes. The Vetrano 2B Evo is equipped with insulated, cool‑touch steam and a cool‑touch hot‑water wand. These are designed to run cooler on the outside, reducing the risk of burns and minimizing milk sticking to the wand after steaming.

What kind of electrical requirements does this machine have? Can I use it on a standard US household circuit?

The Vetrano 2B Evo is designed for standard US household power. Most models are 110–120V and draw around 15 amps, so they can run on a typical 15‑amp kitchen circuit. It should be plugged into a properly grounded outlet, and it’s best not to share that circuit with other high‑draw appliances while brewing and steaming.

How long does it take the Vetrano 2B Evo to fully heat up for brewing and steaming?

While the boilers reach temperature within roughly 10–15 minutes, the E61 group head and overall system thermal stability typically require about 25–30 minutes to be fully heat‑soaked. For the most consistent shots, many owners let it warm up for at least 25 minutes before pulling their first espresso.

Does the machine have a built‑in shot timer or PID display, and what information does it show?

The Vetrano 2B Evo includes a PID controller with a digital display. It shows boiler temperatures and allows you to adjust them. On most current versions, there is also an integrated shot timer that starts when you engage the brew lever, helping you track shot duration without additional accessories.

Please note, any discounts subject to void the paid installation offer.

At Coffeeionado, professional installation is included with qualifying espresso machine purchases. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible — from coordinating the technician to getting your machine up and running on day one.

Which Machines Qualify

Free professional installation is included with all espresso machines of 2 groups or more where indicated on the product listing. This policy applies to espresso machines only and does not cover other coffee equipment such as grinders, brewers, or accessories.

If you are unsure whether your machine qualifies, contact us before purchasing and we'll confirm.

What's Included

  • Travel and labor costs for installation within the technician's service area (up to 2 hours of travel)
  • Setup, basic programming, and commissioning of the equipment
  • Scheduling during regular business hours, Monday through Friday
  • Associated taxes and fees related to the installation itself

Installation must be completed within 30 days of delivery of the equipment. The installation benefit lapses after this window and cannot be reinstated.

How Installation Is Arranged

Depending on your purchase, installation is handled one of two ways:

Arranged directly — In many cases, Coffeeionado or the manufacturer will coordinate and pay the technician on your behalf. We will contact you after your order is processed to schedule the visit.

Reimbursement — In some cases, you may be asked to arrange the installation locally using an authorized technician and submit a rebate form for reimbursement. Once approved, the covered amount will be refunded to the original payment method used for your order.

We will confirm which arrangement applies to your purchase at the time of order confirmation. If you have questions before purchasing, contact us and we'll walk you through it.

What's Not Included

The following are outside the scope of the installation policy and remain the customer's responsibility:

  • Travel or callout costs beyond the first 2 hours of the technician's travel time — if your location falls outside the local service area, the overage is your responsibility
  • Water filtration systems and installation materials — including plumbing fittings, tubing, plugs, outlets, and any other ancillary components required to prepare the site
  • Electrical or plumbing work — site preparation must be completed before the technician arrives
  • Training on equipment operation — installation covers commissioning only, not barista or operational training
  • False start or callout fees if the technician arrives and the site is not ready for installation

Important: If a technician arrives and cannot complete the installation because the site is unprepared, you will be responsible for any callout or false start fee charged by the technician. However, your installation benefit remains intact — the visit will be rescheduled at no additional cost to your policy.

Water Filtration Requirement

Water filtration must be installed and operational before or at the time of installation. This is not optional — operating a commercial espresso machine without proper filtration will void the manufacturer's warranty. If filtration is not in place at the time of the technician's visit, installation may need to be rescheduled and the callout fee will be your responsibility.

If you need guidance on water filtration requirements for your machine, contact us before scheduling your installation.

Service Area

Installation coverage is tied to the manufacturer's authorized technician service area, generally within a 1.5-hour radius of the nearest certified technician. If your location falls outside this area, Coffeeionado will make reasonable efforts to arrange a local authorized technician, but travel costs beyond the 2-hour coverage limit remain your responsibility.

Not sure if you're in a service area? Contact us before purchasing and we'll check your location.

After Installation

Once your machine is installed, we'll provide referrals for authorized service technicians in your area for ongoing maintenance and repairs. Coffeeionado offers lifetime support on all equipment we sell — we're here long after the install is done.

Governing Terms

This installation policy forms part of your agreement with Coffeeionado and is subject to our Terms of Sale and Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service governs.

Can I pick up the machine at your store?

We do not have a showroom or storefront for customer pickups, so orders cannot be picked up directly from us. That said, there is an exception for La Spaziale and La Pavoni products, you can contact us to arrange.

However, if you'd prefer, we can arrange to have your machine shipped to a local freight terminal/location for pickup instead. Let us know your city/state (or ZIP code), and we’d be happy to check the nearest terminal options for you.
