Powering Hundreds of Businesses Including:

Placing a machine this striking on your counter is a deliberate signal to your staff and your regulars that your coffee program has reached its maturity. It accounts for the physical reality of a busy shop, using the Soft Infusion System to pull consistent shots even when your lead barista is four hours into a relentless morning rush. You are investing in a tool that protects your reputation during the hours when human focus naturally begins to lean. This is the moment you stabilize your workflow and ensure your standard remains the same from the first ticket to the last.

Product Features

Volumetric Dosing

Volumetric dosing lets you program four dose sizes per group head, so baristas can switch recipes instantly without manual timing. That repeatable dosing speeds service and maintains consistent shot quality across operators and shifts.

SIS (Soft Infusion System)

SIS monitors pressure throughout extraction and gradually raises pressure as the shot progresses, producing a consistently soft, creamy espresso. For high-volume service this reduces shot variability so every pull hits the same texture and body customers expect.

Per-Head Shot Timers

Built-in shot timers let each brewing head be timed independently, removing the need for external timers. Teams can monitor extraction time at a glance to keep quality consistent during busy service.

Independent Group Cleaning

Automatic cleaning allows you to wash each group separately, meaning cleaning cycles can run without shutting down the entire bar. That lets staff clean while taking orders, minimizing downtime during peak periods.

Programmable Energy-Saving

Energy-saving mode can be programmed to turn the machine on and off at set times, helping control utility costs across long service hours. Scheduled power management keeps the machine ready when you need it and conserves energy when you don’t.

Cool-Touch Steam Lever

The cool touch steam lever is thermally insulated for safer, faster steaming and easier cleaning at the wand. This reduces burn risk for staff and speeds milk service without compromising steam performance.

The Coffeeionado Take

Who's It For:

  • Cafés and coffee bars where the machine is a visual centerpiece — Striking Italian design and compact footprint make this a statement piece that also delivers commercial-grade output
  • New café operators scaling up — Soft Infusion System and volumetric dosing produce consistent shots even as service intensity increases, forgiving the occasional inconsistency under pressure
  • Small to medium cafés with limited counter space — Two-group configuration optimized for a smaller footprint without sacrificing hourly output or steam performance

Right For You If:

  • You are pulling 150–300 drinks a day and want a machine that looks as good as it performs — the Adonis is designed to be seen.
  • Your baristas are building their skills and you want a machine that compensates for minor inconsistency with its Soft Infusion System.
  • You have 220–240V power and direct plumbing, and you need a compact two-group that does not compromise on steam capacity.

Things to Consider:

  • The 20–30 minute warm-up is faster than many HX competitors, but the heat exchanger design still means you are managing temperature through the boiler rather than per-group PID control.
  • No pressure profiling — if your menu features single-origin espresso flights requiring different extraction profiles, a multi-boiler or profiling machine gives you that control.
  • The LCD display is intuitive, but the machine does not include auto-steam standard — confirm whether the Easycream optional upgrade fits your workflow budget.

Our Take:

The Adonis is Victoria Arduino proving that a beautiful machine can also be a serious commercial tool — the Soft Infusion System keeps shots consistent when the bar gets busy, and the compact footprint means it fits where other two-groups cannot. If your café values aesthetics as much as performance and your volume is solidly medium, this is the machine that earns its spot on the bar.

Victoria Arduino Adonis 2 Group Volumetric Espresso Machine

Victoria Arduino, founded in 1915, brings multiple generations of espresso manufacturing to the table with every product. Made in Italy with the finest materials available, Victoria Arduino's products are a staple in many specialty coffee shops.

Driven by Performance and Design

The Adonis is designed to be a center piece with its sleek curves and eye-catching aesthetics. Not only is it well designed but it also has the power to pump out nearly 300 shots a day. It was made for any high volume shop and features a 14 liter boiler, a PID for thermostability and Nuova Simonelli's innovative Soft Infusion systems. Speaking of easy, the auto and manual steam arm makes frothing fast and simple with its signature push/pull lever.

Get the Perfect Extraction

The Soft Infusion System, developed by the techs at Simonelli, is an innovative pre-infusion system that is adjustable, consistent and has no risk of user error. It is unique because it extracts centrifugally by injecting water at different angles into the coffee cake which eliminates channeling and maximizes espresso extraction by creating more contact time between the water and coffee.

At the Touch of a Button

The High Efficiency Extraction System works to bring out the best aroma in every blend and offers the same high quality shot with every pull. From the LCD you can control the temperature, bar pressure and volume in a few simple steps. The Adonis also features programmable shots, with each group featuring two programmable buttons (single and double) to speed up the bar process.

Medium-to-High Volume Café

This handcrafted Italian espresso machine by Victoria Arduino would be perfect in any medium or high volume cafes. It has made pulling shots as fast and simple as possible, allowing you to focus on your customers.

Water Quality & Machine Protection

Proper water quality is essential for optimal espresso extraction and long-term machine health. Use the guidelines below to ensure your machine performs at its best.

Parameter Ideal Range Why It Matters
Total Hardness 50-170 ppm Prevents scale buildup while maintaining flavor
pH Level 6.5-7.5 Ensures balanced extraction and protects internal components
Chlorine 0 ppm Eliminates off-flavors and prevents corrosion
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) 70-150 ppm Optimal mineral content for extraction and taste
Total Alkalinity ~7.0 Stabilizes acidity and extraction
Chloride 0-28 ppm Prevents corrosion (especially in steel boilers)

Important Note

Always refer to your machine's manual for specific water quality recommendations and maintenance schedules.

Advisory

Install a water filtration system to maintain consistent water quality and extend the life of your espresso machine.

What This Means

  • Water that’s too hard → scale buildup, reduced performance
  • Water that’s too soft → flat, dull espresso
  • Improper water can damage internal components over time

Machine-Specific Considerations

  • These guidelines are safe for most home espresso machines
  • Some machines (especially with stainless steel boilers) require stricter limits on chlorides

Product FAQ

Does the Victoria Arduino Adonis 2 Group AV have a rotary pump or a vibration pump?

The Victoria Arduino Adonis 2 Group AV is equipped with a commercial-grade rotary pump, which provides consistent pressure, quieter operation, and is designed for hard-plumbed (direct connect) installations typically required in cafés and restaurants.

Is the Adonis 2 Group AV a direct-plumbed machine, or can it use a water reservoir?

The Adonis 2 Group AV is designed as a direct-plumbed (hard‑line) commercial espresso machine. It must be connected to your building’s water line and is not intended to run from an internal water reservoir. Proper filtration and, in many areas, water softening are strongly recommended to protect the machine.

Does this machine include pre-infusion, and is it programmable?

Yes. The Adonis 2 Group AV offers programmable pre-infusion. Each group can be set up so that water gently saturates the coffee puck before full pressure is applied, helping to improve extraction consistency and flavor, especially in a busy café environment.

Are the steam wands cool-touch or no-burn on the Adonis 2 Group AV?

The Adonis 2 Group AV typically comes with cool-touch (no-burn) steam wands. These are insulated to stay significantly cooler than traditional steam wands, reducing the risk of burns and making milk residue less likely to bake onto the surface, which simplifies cleaning.

Is the Adonis 2 Group AV a volumetric machine, and can I program shot volumes?

Yes. The “AV” in the model name stands for ‘Auto Volumetric.’ Each group head has programmable volumetric dosing, allowing you to set specific shot volumes (e.g., single, double, and other presets). Once programmed, the machine will automatically stop the shot at the set volume for speed and consistency.

Does the machine have separate boilers for brewing and steaming (multi-boiler system)?

The Adonis 2 Group AV uses a heat-exchange system with a large steam boiler and individual heat exchangers for each group, or in some configurations a multi-boiler system depending on the exact variant. In both cases, it is designed so you can brew espresso and steam milk simultaneously without major temperature drops, which is essential for commercial throughput.

What power requirements and voltage does the Victoria Arduino Adonis 2 Group AV need in the US?

For the US market, the Adonis 2 Group AV typically requires 220–240V, 50/60 Hz, on a dedicated circuit, with total power draw commonly in the 3000–4500W range depending on configuration. Exact amperage and plug type can vary, so installers should consult the technical data plate and local electrical codes to ensure proper wiring.

Does the Adonis 2 Group AV support PID temperature control or adjustable brew temperatures?

Yes. The Adonis 2 Group AV includes electronic temperature control (PID-based in most current configurations) that allows precise adjustment of boiler and brew temperatures. This lets cafés fine-tune temperature profiles for different coffee blends and helps maintain stability during peak service.

Please note, any discounts subject to void the paid installation offer.

At Coffeeionado, professional installation is included with qualifying espresso machine purchases. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible — from coordinating the technician to getting your machine up and running on day one.

Which Machines Qualify

Free professional installation is included with all espresso machines of 2 groups or more where indicated on the product listing. This policy applies to espresso machines only and does not cover other coffee equipment such as grinders, brewers, or accessories.

If you are unsure whether your machine qualifies, contact us before purchasing and we'll confirm.

What's Included

  • Travel and labor costs for installation within the technician's service area (up to 2 hours of travel)
  • Setup, basic programming, and commissioning of the equipment
  • Scheduling during regular business hours, Monday through Friday
  • Associated taxes and fees related to the installation itself

Installation must be completed within 30 days of delivery of the equipment. The installation benefit lapses after this window and cannot be reinstated.

How Installation Is Arranged

Depending on your purchase, installation is handled one of two ways:

Arranged directly — In many cases, Coffeeionado or the manufacturer will coordinate and pay the technician on your behalf. We will contact you after your order is processed to schedule the visit.

Reimbursement — In some cases, you may be asked to arrange the installation locally using an authorized technician and submit a rebate form for reimbursement. Once approved, the covered amount will be refunded to the original payment method used for your order.

We will confirm which arrangement applies to your purchase at the time of order confirmation. If you have questions before purchasing, contact us and we'll walk you through it.

What's Not Included

The following are outside the scope of the installation policy and remain the customer's responsibility:

  • Travel or callout costs beyond the first 2 hours of the technician's travel time — if your location falls outside the local service area, the overage is your responsibility
  • Water filtration systems and installation materials — including plumbing fittings, tubing, plugs, outlets, and any other ancillary components required to prepare the site
  • Electrical or plumbing work — site preparation must be completed before the technician arrives
  • Training on equipment operation — installation covers commissioning only, not barista or operational training
  • False start or callout fees if the technician arrives and the site is not ready for installation

Important: If a technician arrives and cannot complete the installation because the site is unprepared, you will be responsible for any callout or false start fee charged by the technician. However, your installation benefit remains intact — the visit will be rescheduled at no additional cost to your policy.

Water Filtration Requirement

Water filtration must be installed and operational before or at the time of installation. This is not optional — operating a commercial espresso machine without proper filtration will void the manufacturer's warranty. If filtration is not in place at the time of the technician's visit, installation may need to be rescheduled and the callout fee will be your responsibility.

If you need guidance on water filtration requirements for your machine, contact us before scheduling your installation.

Service Area

Installation coverage is tied to the manufacturer's authorized technician service area, generally within a 1.5-hour radius of the nearest certified technician. If your location falls outside this area, Coffeeionado will make reasonable efforts to arrange a local authorized technician, but travel costs beyond the 2-hour coverage limit remain your responsibility.

Not sure if you're in a service area? Contact us before purchasing and we'll check your location.

After Installation

Once your machine is installed, we'll provide referrals for authorized service technicians in your area for ongoing maintenance and repairs. Coffeeionado offers lifetime support on all equipment we sell — we're here long after the install is done.

Governing Terms

This installation policy forms part of your agreement with Coffeeionado and is subject to our Terms of Sale and Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service governs.

Can I pick up the machine at your store?

We do not have a showroom or storefront for customer pickups, so orders cannot be picked up directly from us. That said, there is an exception for La Spaziale and La Pavoni products, you can contact us to arrange.

However, if you'd prefer, we can arrange to have your machine shipped to a local freight terminal/location for pickup instead. Let us know your city/state (or ZIP code), and we’d be happy to check the nearest terminal options for you.
