Powering Hundreds of Businesses Including:

You’ve reached the point where clearing several grams of stale grounds out of your grinder's exit chute every morning feels like a chore you never signed up for. Transitioning to a single-dose workflow is less about chasing a trend and more about actually tasting the bean you just spent time weighing out. The Blow Up System handles the physics of retention so you can stop wondering how much of yesterday’s roast is still hiding in the burr chamber. This is where your morning routine stops being about maintenance and starts being about the cup.

Product Features

Stepless Micrometric Regulation

Eureka’s Stepless Micrometric Regulation System lets you make infinite micro-adjustments for precise dialing-in, and the lower-burr adjustment means you won’t lose your setting during maintenance. The oversized King Size Grind Dial translates small turns into fine changes—ideal for those morning ritual tweaks when a tenth of a click makes the shot sing.

55mm Flat Burrs

55mm hardened steel flat burrs deliver the uniform particle distribution important for predictable espresso extraction and clarity in the cup. The 55mm size grinds quickly while staying thermally stable for typical home volumes and handles the range from espresso to coarser filter brews.

ACE System

The ACE System (Anti-Clumps and Electrostaticity System) uses controlled airflow inside the grinding chamber to neutralize static and break up clumps before grounds reach the dosing cup. That means less mess, cleaner dosing, and more consistent distribution in your portafilter shot to shot.

Blow Up System

The Blow Up System actively clears residual grounds from the grinding chamber and chute with directed airflow to minimize retention. When you switch beans or grind settings, the result is a dose that accurately reflects what you just ground rather than a mix of old residue.

Silent Technology

Silent Technology dampens motor vibrations and, combined with the die-cast aluminum body, reduces operating noise to about 51 dB—roughly a quiet conversation. That low noise profile makes early-morning single dosing and practice pulls less likely to wake the household.

Dosing Cup Lever Workflow

The activation lever sits directly behind the dosing cup holder for a simple, tactile single-dose workflow: place the cup, flip the lever, and stop when you have the dose you weighed. This manual control pairs naturally with weighing and routine dialing and keeps the process fluid and intentional.

The Coffeeionado Take

Who's It For:

  • Home Baristas Who Like to Experiment — Single-dose capability means you can switch between beans without purging a full hopper. Great for households with multiple coffee preferences
  • Budget-Conscious Upgraders — A solid step above entry-level without the price tag of prosumer equipment. Good coffee doesn't require a second mortgage

It's Right For You If:

  • You want a home grinder with 55mm flat hardened steel burrs big enough to grind cool and consistent — a noticeable step up from the 40mm entry-level units.
  • The stepless micrometric adjustment lets you move between espresso and coarser brew methods without losing your settings — versatile enough for households with different coffee preferences.

Things to Consider:

  • At 5.6kg, it's heavier than most home grinders. Solid build, but it'll claim permanent counter real estate.
  • No dedicated sound dampening — it's not the loudest grinder out there, but early-morning users in shared spaces should be aware.

Our Take:

The Eureka Mignon Zero Single Dose Grinder with 55mm flat hardened steel burrs is a genuine step up from entry-level. If you are serious enough about coffee to be reading product descriptions on a specialty site, this is the right tier.

Grind for Multiple Methods

The Eureka Atom espresso grinder is well suited to far more than just espresso! Eureka brand grinder's engineers conceive their burr sets to offer grinding abilities suitable for the preparation of both espresso and filter coffee brew methods.

Single Dose Grinder

Single-dose grinders prioritize freshness and precise control by grinding only the necessary amount of coffee for each brew, eliminating the need to store pre-ground coffee. This method guarantees optimal freshness, as the grinders are designed to minimize leftover grounds after each use, ensuring that every dose is freshly ground.

Fast Optimal Output

The Zero single dose grinder is designed to provide consistent and precise grinding for different types of coffee beverages. For an espresso shot, the output time ranges from 1.2 to 1.8 seconds, ensuring a fine grind that extracts the perfect flavors and aromas. On the other hand, for brewing methods like pour-over or French press, the grinder produces a coarser grind with an output time of 1.9 to 2.5 seconds, allowing for a slower extraction process that brings out a rich and balanced flavor profile in the coffee.

55mm Flat Burrs

The 55mm burr size strikes a balance between being large enough to deliver consistent and precise grinding, yet not overly bulky. These are made for high productivity and can perform an espresso shot at 1.4-1.8 grams per second.

This makes it ideal for prosumer setups (enthusiast-level home espresso machines) and any slow bar featured coffee shops.

Ace System and Anti-Clumping

The burrs large size isn't the only feature reducing retention, improving flavor, and providing incredibly fluffy grind. The ACE System by Eureka is an anti-clump and electrostatic system that prevents the development of clumps and eliminates electrostatic charge that's created while grinding coffee.

Zero Waste Grinds

Achieving Zero Waste is made possible by: 1. A special Anti-Vibration System that enables uninterrupted shots even when there are disturbances or impacts on the filter holder. 2. The exclusive IGW Technology ensures that the grinding process halts immediately when the filter holder is removed.

Stepless Adjustments

The Atom coffee grinder is not only a beautiful and quiet espresso grinder, but it is also effortless to use. With its simple grinding adjustment, a stepless ring nut gear makes it easy to make minuscule grind adjustments. Something that every barista knows is the key to a great espresso!

Silent Technology

This Eureka machine's Silent Technology offers a unique solution to minimize vibrations and significantly decrease grinding noise levels (approximately 64 dB), ensuring a peaceful and enjoyable grinding experience at all hours.

45 Gram Dosing Cup

Eureka has included a 45-gram metal dosing cup to go along with the grinder. It's a nice touch and even has the Eureka logo on it.

Product FAQ

Is the Eureka Mignon Zero a stepless grinder, and how precise are the adjustments for dialing in espresso?

Yes. The Eureka Mignon Zero is a stepless grinder, which means you can make very small, continuous adjustments instead of clicking between fixed steps. This allows for fine-tuning your grind size to precisely dial in espresso shots. The adjustment knob is micrometric, so small turns result in gradual grind changes rather than big jumps.

Does the Eureka Mignon Zero work for both espresso and filter coffee, or is it espresso‑only?

The Mignon Zero is designed first and foremost as an espresso-focused grinder, but it can be adjusted coarser for other brewing methods like moka pot, AeroPress, and some pour-over. However, it is not ideal as a dedicated coarse grinder for very coarse methods such as French press or cold brew; its sweet spot is in the espresso to medium-fine range.

What type and size of burrs does the Eureka Mignon Zero Single Dose Grinder come with?

The Eureka Mignon Zero uses 55 mm flat burrs made from hardened steel. These are the same general burr style used in other Mignon models, optimized for consistency and clarity in espresso grinding. Flat burrs are known for producing uniform particles and a balanced flavor profile.

How often do I need to replace the burrs, and how long do they typically last in home use?

Burr life depends on how much you grind and the types of beans you use, but for typical home espresso use, the 55 mm hardened steel burrs can often last in the range of 600–800 kg of coffee. For most home users pulling a few shots per day, this can translate to many years of use before replacement is needed. You’ll know it’s time to replace them when you need much finer settings than before, shots run inconsistently, or flavor becomes noticeably dull.

Is the Eureka Mignon Zero suitable for a home environment, and can it handle light commercial or high‑volume use?

The Mignon Zero is best suited for home or low-volume settings where single dosing and precision are the priority. It can handle back-to-back drinks for home entertaining, but it is not intended as a high-speed, heavy-duty grinder for busy cafés or high-traffic restaurant use. For heavier commercial workloads, a larger, dedicated commercial grinder is recommended.

How fast is the Eureka Mignon Zero, and can it keep up with making multiple drinks in a row?

Grind speed will vary slightly by roast and grind size, but you can expect roughly 1–1.8 grams per second in the espresso range. That means a typical 18 g dose in around 10–18 seconds. It can comfortably handle several drinks in a row for home entertaining; however, it’s not designed to grind continuously for long periods like a large commercial grinder.

Does the Eureka Mignon Zero offer timed or manual dosing, and is it grind‑by‑weight?

The Mignon Zero is designed primarily as a single-dose, manual grinder: you weigh your beans before grinding and run the grinder until the dose is finished. It is not a grind‑by‑weight grinder and does not have a built-in scale. Depending on the exact configuration offered, some versions may include a basic on/off or timer function, but the main use case is manual single dosing rather than automated timed or weight-based dosing.

Is the Eureka Mignon Zero hands‑free, and what kind of portafilter or dosing options does it have?

Yes. The grinder comes with a fork or cradle that holds your portafilter for hands‑free grinding, as well as a dosing cup or container for true single dosing. You can grind directly into the portafilter or into the supplied dosing cup and then transfer the grounds to your basket, depending on your workflow preference.

How does free installation work?

We want to make your purchase as smooth as possible and will pay the installation via rebate on commercial espresso machines. This includes commercial machines with more than 1 group head and 220V.

If the certified installer needed is over 1.5 hours away then we will pay for the installation call (and install up to the value suggested on page minus call fee). Travel will be paid by customer. Inquire if you have any questions about your location.

Please note, any discounts subject to void the paid installation offer.

At Coffeeionado, professional installation is included with qualifying espresso machine purchases. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible — from coordinating the technician to getting your machine up and running on day one.

Which Machines Qualify

Free professional installation is included with all espresso machines of 2 groups or more where indicated on the product listing. This policy applies to espresso machines only and does not cover other coffee equipment such as grinders, brewers, or accessories.

If you are unsure whether your machine qualifies, contact us before purchasing and we'll confirm.

What's Included

  • Travel and labor costs for installation within the technician's service area (up to 2 hours of travel)
  • Setup, basic programming, and commissioning of the equipment
  • Scheduling during regular business hours, Monday through Friday
  • Associated taxes and fees related to the installation itself

Installation must be completed within 30 days of delivery of the equipment. The installation benefit lapses after this window and cannot be reinstated.

How Installation Is Arranged

Depending on your purchase, installation is handled one of two ways:

Arranged directly — In many cases, Coffeeionado or the manufacturer will coordinate and pay the technician on your behalf. We will contact you after your order is processed to schedule the visit.

Reimbursement — In some cases, you may be asked to arrange the installation locally using an authorized technician and submit a rebate form for reimbursement. Once approved, the covered amount will be refunded to the original payment method used for your order.

We will confirm which arrangement applies to your purchase at the time of order confirmation. If you have questions before purchasing, contact us and we'll walk you through it.

What's Not Included

The following are outside the scope of the installation policy and remain the customer's responsibility:

  • Travel or callout costs beyond the first 2 hours of the technician's travel time — if your location falls outside the local service area, the overage is your responsibility
  • Water filtration systems and installation materials — including plumbing fittings, tubing, plugs, outlets, and any other ancillary components required to prepare the site
  • Electrical or plumbing work — site preparation must be completed before the technician arrives
  • Training on equipment operation — installation covers commissioning only, not barista or operational training
  • False start or callout fees if the technician arrives and the site is not ready for installation

Important: If a technician arrives and cannot complete the installation because the site is unprepared, you will be responsible for any callout or false start fee charged by the technician. However, your installation benefit remains intact — the visit will be rescheduled at no additional cost to your policy.

Water Filtration Requirement

Water filtration must be installed and operational before or at the time of installation. This is not optional — operating a commercial espresso machine without proper filtration will void the manufacturer's warranty. If filtration is not in place at the time of the technician's visit, installation may need to be rescheduled and the callout fee will be your responsibility.

If you need guidance on water filtration requirements for your machine, contact us before scheduling your installation.

Service Area

Installation coverage is tied to the manufacturer's authorized technician service area, generally within a 1.5-hour radius of the nearest certified technician. If your location falls outside this area, Coffeeionado will make reasonable efforts to arrange a local authorized technician, but travel costs beyond the 2-hour coverage limit remain your responsibility.

Not sure if you're in a service area? Contact us before purchasing and we'll check your location.

After Installation

Once your machine is installed, we'll provide referrals for authorized service technicians in your area for ongoing maintenance and repairs. Coffeeionado offers lifetime support on all equipment we sell — we're here long after the install is done.

Governing Terms

This installation policy forms part of your agreement with Coffeeionado and is subject to our Terms of Sale and Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service governs.

Can I pick up the machine at your store?

We do not have a showroom or storefront for customer pickups, so orders cannot be picked up directly from us. That said, there is an exception for La Spaziale and La Pavoni products, you can contact us to arrange.

However, if you'd prefer, we can arrange to have your machine shipped to a local freight terminal/location for pickup instead. Let us know your city/state (or ZIP code), and we’d be happy to check the nearest terminal options for you.
