Powering Hundreds of Businesses Including:

You have reached the point where a fixed extraction profile feels more like a limitation than a convenience. The Bianca V3 is for the person who treats espresso as a series of variables to be managed rather than a button to be pressed, using the manual flow control paddle to dictate the exact character of every shot. It provides the mechanical transparency required to stop guessing and start deciding how a specific roast should behave. This is the centerpiece of a setup intended to outlast your interest in whatever the next trend happens to be.

Product Features

Dual Stainless-Steel Boilers

A dedicated 0.8 L stainless steel brew boiler and a 1.5 L insulated stainless steel steam boiler let you brew and steam at the same time while keeping temperatures stable and heat-up times fast. Separate, insulated boilers remove the compromises of single-boiler systems, so temperature-sensitive shots stay consistent under load.

Patented Flow Control Paddle

Lelit’s patented rotating flow control paddle gives you hands-on control of extraction, ranging from full flow (around 6–7 ml/s) to a complete stop so you can shape flow profiles on the fly. The machine also offers a programmable low flow mode that simulates those profiles without moving the paddle—ideal for repeatable experiments and recipe refinement.

Programmable PID (OLED)

The external PID with OLED display doubles as a shot timer and lets you adjust brew temperature offset in real time and program exact pre-infusion on/off seconds. That level of digital control makes dialing in temperature and pre-wetting routines precise and repeatable for high-value single-dose or blended recipes.

E61 Group With Pressure Monitoring

The chrome-plated brass E61 grouphead combines familiar thermal mass with built-in flow control and clear pressure feedback. The machine includes external pressure gauges for brew and steam (and additional pump/group monitoring noted in the product description), so you can monitor extraction and steam pressure at a glance while tuning pressure-sensitive techniques.

Movable Water Reservoir & Plumbable Pump

A 2.5 L BPA-free water reservoir can be mounted on the left, right, or back to fit tight countertops, or you can plumb the rotary pump directly to a water line for uninterrupted service. Multiple attachment points add layout flexibility for small cafés or crowded home bars.

No-Burn Multidirectional Steam & Hot-Water Wands

Commercial-style, fully articulated anti-burn steam and hot water wands with spring-closure tactile knobs let you position the wand for any cup or pitcher size and maintain safe, responsive steam control. The machine ships with optional 2-hole and 4-hole steam tips to match your milk technique and steaming volume.

The Coffeeionado Take

Who's It For:

  • Enthusiasts dialing in light roasts — The manual flow control paddle lets you shape the pressure curve to coax sweetness out of high-density single origins that flat 9-bar extractions miss
  • Home users upgrading from entry-level espresso — Dual PID-controlled boilers and a rotary pump give you the thermal and pressure stability to stop blaming the machine
  • Hobbyists who want manual control — If you treat every shot as a variable to be managed, the Bianca puts every lever in your hands

It's Right For You If:

  • You are pulling 4–15 shots a day and want to actively profile pressure, not just set a temperature and hope.
  • You have a capable grinder (64mm flat burrs or larger) — pressure profiling rewards good grind consistency.
  • Your bar can accommodate an E61 machine and you have a 220V outlet or plan to install one.

Things to Consider:

  • E61 groups need 35–60 minutes to fully warm up — budget for a smart plug or accept the morning wait.
  • Pressure profiling has a real learning curve; if you are not ready to experiment with flow rates and soak times, a standard dual boiler will serve you better at a lower price.
  • The 0.8L brew boiler handles home volume well, but hosting 8+ people back-to-back will test its recovery.

Our Take:

The Bianca V3 is the machine we recommend when someone tells us they have outgrown fixed-pressure extraction — the flow control paddle is not a gimmick, it is a genuine tool that changes what is possible in the cup. If you are the kind of person who reads tasting notes on the bag and wants to actually taste them, this is the dual boiler that lets you get there.

Espresso Machine

Manual Wooden Paddle with Pressure Gauge for Complete Control

Utilizing a manual paddle with an espresso machine empowers you to regulate the flow rate and pressure while extracting espresso. This hands-on approach gives you enhanced precision in crafting each shot to achieve perfection.

Programmable Parameters

Mounted on top of the group head is a brew pressure gauge that allows you full manual control over the brew pressure as the espresso shot is extracting. With this, you can be sure that all your flavour profiles will be to your exact taste.

The buttons on the LCC display allow you to send the machine to sleep and see the current coffee boiler temperature as well as the steam temperature.

Moveable Water Reservoir

Not only does the Lelit Bianca give you the option of repositioning the water reservoir on either side of the machine to suit your needs, but it can also be directly plumbed in (no need for a tank) and the drip tray can be drained.

For the Sophisticated Brewer

A sophisticated system that allows timed preinfusion, a reference timer, and a low-water level alert. Its dual-pressure gauge measures both the boiler pressure (0-4 bar) on top and pump pressure (0-16 bar) on the bottom.

Shot Control

This home espresso machine is equipped with advanced features that ensure precision and efficiency in coffee preparation. This machine keeps track of both partial and total doses through a counter system, ensuring accuracy in serving sizes. The coffee delivery time is also closely monitored, guaranteeing quick and consistent service. Additionally, the Bianca can be switched into an active Reserve mode during slower periods to conserve energy without compromising on performance.

Espresso Machine Additions

PID Temperature Control

PID, an abbreviation for Proportional-Integral-Derivative, is a feedback loop controller utilized in espresso machines to regulate and maintain the water temperature within the boiler. It means you can regulate the temperature on the machine.

With PID controller espresso machines, you ensure that the water temperature remains constant and ideal for producing high-quality espresso.

Dual Boiler Espresso Machine

A dual boiler espresso machine is engineered with two distinct boilers: one for brewing espresso at the perfect temperature and another for generating steam to froth milk. Unlike single boiler machines that share one boiler for both tasks, dual boilers enable simultaneous brewing and steaming, ensuring consistent temperature and pressure for superior quality espresso beverages.

Stainless Steel Boilers

Stainless steel boilers in espresso machines offer exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. They are designed to withstand daily use without losing efficiency, even in high humidity or water-exposed environments. Despite having lower thermal conductivity than copper, stainless steel boilers require less material for construction. Additionally, they are compatible with descaling chemicals, making maintenance hassle-free for optimal performance.

Rotary Pump for Quieter Operations

Rotary pump espresso machines offer many advantages, especially for home usage. Its low noise level is a key benefit, ensuring a quieter espresso experience. Rotary pumps have a longer lifespan of approximately 15 years, making them a reliable option for long-term use and reducing the need for frequent replacements. Additionally, they provide more consistent pressure and achieve quick pressure buildup compared to vibratory pump.

Espresso Additions

Cool Touch No-Burn Steam Wands

With these revolutionary features, you can froth and steam milk without any concerns about getting burned. The cool touch technology ensures that the wand remains at a safe temperature, allowing you to focus on creating the perfect espresso drinks without any worries. Say goodbye to accidental burns and hello to a more enjoyable coffee-making process with our state-of-the-art espresso machine.

Espresso Additions

Dual Manometers

You'll find dual manometers on espresso machines for monitoring brew and steam pressure. The brew pressure gauge checks the resistance from the coffee grounds in the filter basket when the pump is running to ensure optimal extraction. Meanwhile, the steam pressure gauge on heat exchange or dual boiler machines shows the boiler's steam pressure for safety, usually rated at 2.0 bar for structural integrity.

Insulated Boiler

Insulation is crucial for boilers to maintain heat effectively. Espresso machines are equipped with thermostats, pressure stats, and PIDs to constantly monitor and regulate the temperature of the boiler. If the temperature falls below a specific level, a heating element is activated to restore it. Boilers that are well-insulated release less heat, resulting in lower energy consumption for maintaining their temperature.

Water Quality & Machine Protection

Proper water quality is essential for optimal espresso extraction and long-term machine health. Use the guidelines below to ensure your machine performs at its best.

Parameter Ideal Range Why It Matters
Total Hardness 50-170 ppm Prevents scale buildup while maintaining flavor
pH Level 6.5-7.5 Ensures balanced extraction and protects internal components
Chlorine 0 ppm Eliminates off-flavors and prevents corrosion
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) 70-150 ppm Optimal mineral content for extraction and taste
Total Alkalinity ~7.0 Stabilizes acidity and extraction
Chloride 0-28 ppm Prevents corrosion (especially in steel boilers)

Important Note

Always refer to your machine's manual for specific water quality recommendations and maintenance schedules.

Advisory

Install a water filtration system to maintain consistent water quality and extend the life of your espresso machine.

What This Means

  • Water that’s too hard → scale buildup, reduced performance
  • Water that’s too soft → flat, dull espresso
  • Improper water can damage internal components over time

Machine-Specific Considerations

  • These guidelines are safe for most home espresso machines
  • Some machines (especially with stainless steel boilers) require stricter limits on chlorides

Product FAQ

Does the Lelit Bianca V3 have a rotary pump or a vibration pump, and how does that affect noise and pressure stability?

The Lelit Bianca V3 uses a quiet rotary pump. Compared with vibration pumps, rotary pumps are smoother, typically quieter, and offer very stable brew pressure. This is especially beneficial for pressure profiling and for use in kitchens where lower noise is preferred.

Can the Lelit Bianca V3 be direct-plumbed, or does it only work with the internal water tank?

The Bianca V3 can be used either with its internal removable water tank or direct-plumbed to your water line. It ships with the necessary plumbing fittings and hoses. You can switch between tank and plumbed modes via settings and by repositioning the intake tube under the machine.

Does the Lelit Bianca V3 offer pre-infusion or flow profiling, and is it adjustable by the user?

Yes. The Bianca V3 is designed for manual flow and pressure profiling using the wooden paddle on top of the E61 group. This lets you perform soft pre-infusion and control flow throughout the shot. You can also program features like low-pressure pre-infusion and blooming via the PID control panel.

What type of boilers does the Lelit Bianca V3 use, and can I control their temperature independently?

The Bianca V3 is a dual boiler espresso machine with one dedicated brew boiler and one steam/hot water boiler, both made of stainless steel. The PID control allows you to independently set and monitor the temperature of each boiler for precise tuning of brew and steam performance.

Does the Lelit Bianca V3 have cool‑touch (no‑burn) steam and hot water wands?

Yes. The Bianca V3 includes cool‑touch, no‑burn steam and hot water wands. They stay relatively cool to the touch during use, helping prevent burns and reducing milk residue from sticking, which makes cleanup easier.

How good is the steam power on the Lelit Bianca V3 for making milk drinks like cappuccinos and lattes?

The dedicated steam boiler and rotary pump provide strong, dry steam suitable for both home and light entertaining use. It can texture milk quickly enough for multiple cappuccinos or lattes in a row, and the steam pressure is PID‑controlled for consistency.

What is the warm‑up time for the Lelit Bianca V3, and does it have any eco or standby modes?

From a cold start, the Bianca V3 typically takes about 20–30 minutes for the grouphead and both boilers to reach full operating temperature and thermal stability. It offers energy‑saving features such as programmable idle/standby and the option to turn the steam boiler off when you only need espresso.

What size portafilter and baskets does the Lelit Bianca V3 use, and are they compatible with standard 58 mm accessories?

The Bianca V3 uses a standard 58 mm E61‑style portafilter. It comes with both single and double baskets (and often a bottomless/naked portafilter depending on the retailer). Any high‑quality 58 mm tampers, distribution tools, and baskets are generally compatible.

If the certified installer needed is over 1.5 hours away then we will pay for the installation call (and install up to the value suggested on page minus call fee). Travel will be paid by customer. Inquire if you have any questions about your location.

Please note, any discounts subject to void the paid installation offer.

At Coffeeionado, professional installation is included with qualifying espresso machine purchases. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible — from coordinating the technician to getting your machine up and running on day one.

Which Machines Qualify

Free professional installation is included with all espresso machines of 2 groups or more where indicated on the product listing. This policy applies to espresso machines only and does not cover other coffee equipment such as grinders, brewers, or accessories.

If you are unsure whether your machine qualifies, contact us before purchasing and we'll confirm.

What's Included

  • Travel and labor costs for installation within the technician's service area (up to 2 hours of travel)
  • Setup, basic programming, and commissioning of the equipment
  • Scheduling during regular business hours, Monday through Friday
  • Associated taxes and fees related to the installation itself

Installation must be completed within 30 days of delivery of the equipment. The installation benefit lapses after this window and cannot be reinstated.

How Installation Is Arranged

Depending on your purchase, installation is handled one of two ways:

Arranged directly — In many cases, Coffeeionado or the manufacturer will coordinate and pay the technician on your behalf. We will contact you after your order is processed to schedule the visit.

Reimbursement — In some cases, you may be asked to arrange the installation locally using an authorized technician and submit a rebate form for reimbursement. Once approved, the covered amount will be refunded to the original payment method used for your order.

We will confirm which arrangement applies to your purchase at the time of order confirmation. If you have questions before purchasing, contact us and we'll walk you through it.

What's Not Included

The following are outside the scope of the installation policy and remain the customer's responsibility:

  • Travel or callout costs beyond the first 2 hours of the technician's travel time — if your location falls outside the local service area, the overage is your responsibility
  • Water filtration systems and installation materials — including plumbing fittings, tubing, plugs, outlets, and any other ancillary components required to prepare the site
  • Electrical or plumbing work — site preparation must be completed before the technician arrives
  • Training on equipment operation — installation covers commissioning only, not barista or operational training
  • False start or callout fees if the technician arrives and the site is not ready for installation

Important: If a technician arrives and cannot complete the installation because the site is unprepared, you will be responsible for any callout or false start fee charged by the technician. However, your installation benefit remains intact — the visit will be rescheduled at no additional cost to your policy.

Water Filtration Requirement

Water filtration must be installed and operational before or at the time of installation. This is not optional — operating a commercial espresso machine without proper filtration will void the manufacturer's warranty. If filtration is not in place at the time of the technician's visit, installation may need to be rescheduled and the callout fee will be your responsibility.

If you need guidance on water filtration requirements for your machine, contact us before scheduling your installation.

Service Area

Installation coverage is tied to the manufacturer's authorized technician service area, generally within a 1.5-hour radius of the nearest certified technician. If your location falls outside this area, Coffeeionado will make reasonable efforts to arrange a local authorized technician, but travel costs beyond the 2-hour coverage limit remain your responsibility.

Not sure if you're in a service area? Contact us before purchasing and we'll check your location.

After Installation

Once your machine is installed, we'll provide referrals for authorized service technicians in your area for ongoing maintenance and repairs. Coffeeionado offers lifetime support on all equipment we sell — we're here long after the install is done.

Governing Terms

This installation policy forms part of your agreement with Coffeeionado and is subject to our Terms of Sale and Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service governs.

Can I pick up the machine at your store?

We do not have a showroom or storefront for customer pickups, so orders cannot be picked up directly from us. That said, there is an exception for La Spaziale and La Pavoni products, you can contact us to arrange.

However, if you'd prefer, we can arrange to have your machine shipped to a local freight terminal/location for pickup instead. Let us know your city/state (or ZIP code), and we’d be happy to check the nearest terminal options for you.
