Vibiemme Domobar Junior HX
With the wonderful espresso machine history behind Vibiemme, it is no wonder that Vibiemme's machines are not only beautifully designed but also mechanically and technically refined to deliver superior cup results. Vibiemme still holds the design patent for the E61 group head which is used in conjunction with the E64 group head on their models.
Based on the great success of the Vibiemme Domobar Super HX espresso machines in the USA since 2006, Vibiemme has designed the Vibiemme Double Boiler Junior. With the same high quality found in the larger machine, the Vibiemme Junior HX offers the same capabilities of its bigger sibling, just in a more compact style. You will still be able to extract espresso and steam milk at the same time and change the pressure in the boiler.
All Domobar Juniors include an automatic low water shutoff sensor. This way if the internal boiler is not properly filled, the heating element will not get any power. The end result is a very low chance of costly damage to the heating element due to the lack of water in the boiler.
In order for Vibiemme to offer a lower price compared to the more expensive and larger SUPER line,
- this machine is smaller which means less metal and less room required for those customers who have less space
- the boiler is controlled by a lower priced pressurstat - Jaeger or Mater
- the heat exchanger 1.0-liter boiler is smaller compared to the larger 1.8-liter boilers, the 2-liter reservoir versus the larger size 3.8-liter found on the Double Domo, and
- smaller drip tray
The Junior HX machine still boasts Vibiemme's exclusive and original E-61 grouphead found on the larger machines, the same ULKA 41-watt pump, gorgeous styling, large adjustable overpressure valve (OPV), commercial grade steam and hot water valves, multi-directional steam and hot water wands, brew and steam pressure gauges, heavy vacuum breaker valve, and one-way valve to eliminate back pressure from the boiler.
